I’ll just add that I’m going to cheer for him (almost) no matter where he goes.

From what I have heard he has been less than dedicated this year to the craft and the team so I am not surprised either.
Seeking6
Will cheer for this kid wherever he goes. Injuries derail players and staffs. Time to move on and I don't like saying that either. Wish him well.

Indykev
Kid is made of glass which is to bad, he had at one time a lot of talent, which is now gone. I would not even take a flyer on him if I were a head coach. You may get a season but more than likely 4 or 5 games from him. Good luck to him were ever he goes. His numbers would back that up. Too bad he's Mr. Glass. He was very good before all the injuries. I'm not really saddened by this since it hurt the team to commit to him as the starter only to have him go down with injury every season. Having a stable QB is very important so having to switch QBs in the middle of the season is not a good thing.

Well, maybe it was just me and DeBoer, but from the 2nd or 3rd game Penix was on the field, I kept saying to myself "This kid isn't just good....this is Heisman good". Turns out in the end, I wasn't far off. Hated to lose him, but I realized it was a Mo Creek type situation.....just so many injuries over time and needed a change of scenery. Some guys have the arm talent that is hard to ignore. He had that in spades. When he and Fields went at it, he had the more natural arm.
