SawatchHoosier
4 hours ago, rico said: Reminds me of a joke I told in the comic relief thread. First-year students at the Purdue Vet School were attending their first anatomy class with a real dead cow. They all gathered around the surgery table with the body covered with a white sheet. The professor started the class by telling them, "In Veterinary medicine it is necessary to have two important qualities as a doctor. The first is that you not be disgusted by anything involving the animal's body." For an example, the professor pulled back the sheet, stuck his finger in the butt of the cow, withdrew it, and stuck his finger in his mouth. "Go ahead and do the same thing," he told his students. The students freaked out, hesitated for several minutes, but eventually took turns sticking a finger in the butt of the dead cow and sucking on it. When everyone finished, the Professor looked at them and said, "The second most important quality is observation. I stuck in my middle finger and sucked on my index finger. Now learn to pay attention. Life's tough but it's even tougher if you're stupid." Edited April 27 by SawatchHoosier 1

IndyResident16
Purdue has offered two different PF’s in the last 24 hours. A mutual sign things may be cooling between Painter and Sisley? Edited June 14 by IndyResident16

A mutual sign things may be cooling between Painter and Sisley? I think Woody is going absolute full court press on the three teammates and really hoping he gets them. I think the longer Haralson waits the better for us because I think he only comes if he can get a lot of minutes at the guard spot which he won’t get if Rice and Carlyle are here. I can definitely see Haralson going to UCONN or Duke though before IU. He doesn’t strike me as a kid who wants to make a name for himself in the state of Indiana. He just wants exposure to be a lottery pick.

Purdue’s going to take 3 PF’s with one available scholarship next year? Seems like an odd net to cast, no? He’s sent out 4 offers in the last month with 2 going to forwards and 2 for guards. He’s recruiting like scholarship limits will increase to 15 which there have been rumblings of. Why on Earth as a coach would you even want 15 scholarship players? Sounds like a massive headache. Seems like Painter is putting the full court press on Sisley. Women’s programs currently have 15 but I haven’t seen anything about the men going back to 15 since that’s what it was prior to 1994.
