No. Not exactly. He can have the ball all the time basically. Not just part of the time. He also doesn’t think this will be a one and done type scenario either. He also said he has zero inside info. He explained it better than I ever could. Basically lead guard from day one. Have full control of offense.

Pickett's usage rate was higher than JHS's

I would expect a 5th year guard to have a much higher usage rate than almost every freshman guard 99.9% of the time

 

****added an extra .9 to the % value.  He likely is selling the usage rate, however, Shrews entrusting alot of trust in a true freshman leading the point with a not-so-great team.

Notre Dame has one good player Marcus Thornton who happens to be the lead guard for ND. If Shrews is trying to sell JH being the lead guy at ND on day 1 he’s full of it… IU is in a lot better spot than you guys think in here..
