JaybobHoosier
Ready for game 1 tomorrow. Hope the Blues can take down the Avs. Will be a challenge but they can do it. Love playoff hockey.
Zlinedavid
Good start. Captain Factor with a goal in his 5th straight game, tying the franchise’s playoff record. 1-0 Notes.

Zlinedavid
2-2 at the end of 3. Extra hockey, no charge in Denver tonight. Horrible high sticking call at the end against Schenn. I’m listening to the radio stream, and I haven’t heard Kerber this fired up since the hand pass vs San Jose. And a big thank you to whoever found the time machine and brought 2019’s Binnington back. Stlboiler23
Kadri knocked out Binnington who won’t return this series. What a scumbag.

He’s now down there with Marchand, which is about as big an insult as I can give.
Steubenhoosier
Vasilevsky is amazing. Single handedly kept the Lightning in the game with some unbelievable saves.

Last two games were disappointing. Instead of rallying around Husso when Binnington went out, they completely let him down and lost all energy. Game 4 was a littler better, but got worse as the game went on. I know the Avs are a great team, I’m worried the Blues have reverted back to the slumping Blues team that lacked fight and energy. When they play like they are capable of, they can beat anyone, and than showed in Game 2. Won’t be able to watch tonight except the 3rd period. Blues haven’t looked all that good this series, and happy they made it to a game 6. Really hope this gives them much needed momentum! Zlinedavid
Dear Hockey Gods, After last nights steel toed boot to the twig-n-berries, I hope our debt for 2019 is paid in full. Sincerely, The St Louis Blues

TheWatShot
Quite a year for some hockey fans in Florida. The Florida Panthers won their first Stanley Cup, and at the minor league level, the Florida Everblades won their third consecutive Kelly Cup. Lightening core has gotten long in the tooth but we’ve had some of the best hockey teams the last decade. Everblades are a great ticket. Affordable and great hockey. dgambill
Hard to believe it’s been over 30 years since a team north of the border has won a cup. Not sure the equivalent in other sports but say the US going 120 years without winning a gold medal in basketball. Unfathomable. IUFLA
My only contribution to this thread... I have a nephew who's a big hockey fanatic (he's also a Purdue alum) and he constantly tells me the players back in the day couldn't compete today because they wouldn't be strong enough... Say that to "Mr Hockey's" face 🙂
