FWIW, if they existed, I bought my son the same things I had growing up. He was a big fan of "Twister" when he got into HS! Hopefully you taught him it was a game best played with girls!
mrflynn03
Bought one of those retro Nintendo systems a couple years ago. Haven't played much until recently. Playing Mario Bros. 3 tonight and my wife just doesn't get it. Mario 3 is my favorite because you can power up to a raccoon suit.

Joe_Hoopsier
Honestly, I was hoping this thread would have several pic's from @5fouls . Seems like he's had some nice toys, and he believes in recycling. It's like, a double win. 1
mrflynn03
So not necessarily a toy from youth but didn't want to start a new thread. Played trivial pursuit last night with my wife. It was her first time playing it. Surprisingly she liked it. I forgot how much I liked playing it. Random knowledge does come in handy sometimes.

I had actually forgotten about that board game. Played a lot of it back in the day.

We have some battles on Pursuit, Scrabble....and every once in awhile when I'm getting beat consistently I go get Acquire just to make myself feel good for about 2 hours.

Hell, I still got my "Stratego game"....My son and I usually play a game or two during the holidays. Now, "Sorry" was THE game for me as a young lad. As was "Trouble."

mrflynn03
Kohls has classic board games the way they were intended right now. Not the reimaginged bastardizations that are out these days. Can finally get SORRY with 4 peices and the original game board.

Steubenhoosier
Who had one of these? I remember getting the goop all over. I knew someone who actually made fishing lures with this. 4
