Never heard of this trick until the last week or so. So one of my tomato plants started producing and everything is fine. Another one started developing tomato rot which is strange because right next to each other, same watering, sun,etc...

Anyway a lady I spoke with said to take 2-3 Tums or Antacid tablets, dissolve in a gallon of water and water the bad plant. The calcium in the antacids will make it all good.

1 week later no tomato rot on that plant for the new ones coming in. Unreal.

Yep calcium of any kind. Egg shells, lime... They need a lot of calcium for the skin to seal. FREAKING weird.
