The Eagles squeak out a win at NE. Gotta say, NE is going to be a problem. They're in a tough division, but their defense is absolutely legit. They pretty much bottled up the Eagles all day, and while Mac Jones isn't top-tier, Bill O'Brien makes a real difference.

Was really impressed with NE.

Hull had a 15 yard runs called back, also Jackson fumbled twice. Pay Taylor now

Fumbles are bad, but I don't think JT would do much behind today's o-line play. Couldn't even get enough push to convert 4th and inches with a 250 QB sneaking. Continued pitiful run blocking dating back to last season and the previous.

Steichen and the 4th down decisions? Thought the majority of them were questionable at best.

If Jones didn’t have a wet noodle for an arm they would be dangerous.

He threw some really good balls today. His TD passes (3) were really good throws, largely down the middle of the field.

He definitely had a few clunkers as well, but his arm isn't that bad. Not great, but not terrible either.

Either way, Bill O'Brien will do a more than adequate job hiding his deficiencies. To your point, you can't hide him enough to win a Super Bowl, but that defense is good enough for them to make the playoffs.

Yes, Harrison Jr. would be an incredible addition. No, he won't solve the offensive line, unless that somehow miraculously improves. Smith, Kelly, and even Nelson are massively underwhelming. These players were all part of one of the best o-lines in football just a few years ago.

As to the JT situation, Colts just made Luke Rhodes highest paid long snapper in the game. I get it's entirely different money-wise, but sure looks like trying to spite your hold out running back even if defensible in some way.

Higgins may need to decide whether it's better to play in Cincy with Burrow at a reduced rate, or play somewhere like New England with the likes of Mac Jones at full value.

I'm not saying he should let the Bengals shaft him, but he needs to be careful not to go to a career diminishing situation either.  An extra 5 million now may be meaningless if you play your next contract with a sub-par QB.

This has the same energy as Purdue fans complaining about NIL.
