5fouls
Last night's 49ers/Jets score of 32-19 was a Scorigami. Kind of surprising that had not happened before.

Complaint-- the constant complaints-- about the defensive backfired never made sense. I disagree. Ballard hoped that unproven players would be good enough and that guys would stay healthy. Hope is not a strategy.

Those guys aren't bench players..they're starters. You're living in lala land if you think you're convincing a "good" vet DB to come and be 4th string. Dallis Flowers was having a really good year when he went down last year. He's our 4th string... and he's basically on par with everyone else's 4th. IU Scott
23 minutes ago, DC2345 said: The Colts lack of moves to strengthen the secondary is working out great. Juju Brent’s is out for the year with a knee injury Brents have been injured both years here. Ballard lives his cap space but will never use it when the have he's to feel. Al.ost everyone saw that CB and safety is a weakness and needed upgrades but Ballard did nothing. There were plenty of veteran safeties available like Simmons who has more interceptions in the last 5 years as anyone in the NFL. Also expecting 2 second year CB's to start was a mistake. There aren't gobs of starting corners and safeties in FAs. Y'all live in Lala land with some of these opinions. Hasn't done anything for two years, then you realize he turned 23 years old TODAY. We tried to get Sneed in the offseason who was the only upgrade over Jones/Brents/Kenny Moore. 1

Tried to get Danielle Hunter too but he went to Houston for less money than the Colts offered because he is from Houston. But, nah, Ballard isn’t trying to do anything.

He just isn't aggressive enough to actually make these deals. https://forums.colts.com/topic/77267-report-brents-to-ir/page/2/

Even the best GMs fail to make deals.

That's crazy. So he got one in the draft anyways. He's literally wrong no matter what. The absolute only way you go from unproven to proven is by playing.

Heck, the Cowboys picked up one in the 5th round who would be very helpful right now.

Honest question: if the Colts fail to make the playoffs again in Year 8, should Ballard keep get to stay on for Year 9? To me, that’s the absolute bare minimum, unless Irsay is handcuffing him with regards to FA money. If that’s going on, then let him stay forever, as this is as good as it’s going to get. I'm not talking to you anymore about this topic. That was made very clear a couple of weeks ago. You two making this thread into a bash Ballard fest is BS and completely ruins the thread. Have a good day. 2

At least from the outlets I read or listen to that it is 75/25 against Ballard
IU Scott
Laugh all you want Btown but it is the truth. You have no clue since you said you don't listen to talk shows or look at other outlets for the Colts. I posted a link to the Colts.com thread and if you read it that percentage is spir on. You have 3 or 4 guys defending him in that post but the rest don't like him.
