Maybe I missed a thread, but I couldn't find anything. No shoutouts?? What's up with that? Usually any IU player getting drafted is worth a mention...right?? Nice job, Simon!! Woohoo!! 😁 Packers related. I don't talk Packers. Even though I just did. Haha

IUFLA
Is sports journalism really this dead? "Both Rodgers and Favre have won just one Super Bowl during their long careers in Green Bay, which means if Rodgers can win another one, he'd have more Super Bowl wins than Favre."

It does get difficult to read but that excerpt is up there in the ineptness hall of fame.

Seeking6
Below is a photo from last year I believe. Pace was peaking out the door at the press conference. This is the image I think of every single *$&$&(*#(#( time I see him. Haha. Hopefully photo loaded properly.

I wish I could think this way honestly. Besides the moving up as you mentioned....there's absolutely no NFL GM (besides ours) that would have taken Mitch over Deshaun. It was that easy of a call.

Don't get me wrong...I was shocked he took Mitch and figured he would take Watson if available, but I was dumbfounded when he felt the need to trade up one spot to do it.

Still no one will ever be as incompetent as Grigson. Luck would probably still be playing and Indy would have another SB if he had the slightest clue as to what he was doing. DC2345
Mitchell Trubisky is going to get a lesson in how to be a professional quarterback from Nick Foles.

Maybe tonight I'll do a side by side comparison of picks and moves but I still go with Pace because his mistake was the most important position on the field. I will say Grigson did probably end Luck's career.

They should’ve had a veteran stop gap in place for him to learn from and they didn’t. Glennon wasn’t anything more than a back up and didn’t benefit Trubisky at all. I tend to think Pogano was more at fault for Luck’s injuries than Grigson. Edited April 29, 2020 by DC2345

He’s a decent athlete, he’s got a strong arm, and he’s got decent size. He was thrown out to the wolves to soon and he’s still struggling because of it. I'm more worried about his inability to read defenses, lack of pocket awareness, and lack of accuracy than anything. Brady, Manning, and Brees aren't physically superior to their peers, but they "get it" as far as studying and practice. Not sure that's something that's easily taught. Watched him in college and saw enough that shouldn't even sniffed round 1 and probably should be where Fromm and Eason were drafted this year. So far after 3 seasons in the league he hasn't shown me a thing to change that. The Bears drafted Blake Bortles 2.0 with the 2nd overall pick. Just can't make that mistake. It can be. You should go back and look at the TO’s Manning and Brees had early on. They grew out of it. As for the time put in there are plenty of guys that need to learn that part but it helps if a veteran is in place. That’s why Eason behind Rivers and Brissett makes sense time will tell, Mahomes behind Smith, Rodgers behind Favre even thought Favre wasn’t a great mentor and I could go on and on. Trubisky wasn’t a day one starter and the Bears didn’t do him any favors imo.
