TheWatShot
All after-school events were cancelled this evening due to "winter weather conditions." Apparently rain is now considered winter weather.

Drroogh
Just went to the store and bought some bread. If there was even a threat of weather like that here in GA. There wouldn’t have been any! Stay safe my friends!

Apparently rain is now considered winter weather. All after school events were canceled here also, and all we got was rain most of the day and about an inch of snow so far, which looks like it is tapering off now. The rain was starting to freeze a little bit but turned to snow before it did. Edited February 17, 2022 by Hoosier51
5fouls
Rained a drop or 375 trillion of them down this way today.
NotIThatLives
When I got home from work this morning it was 51. Within an hour it was 36.  It's a nice gusty 25 with little snow now and a low of 15 with -1 chill overnight. I was in south Florida less than a week ago, 81 degrees when I dropped the rental car off. I'm ready to fight this weather

TheWatShot
The Henryville tornado was 10 years ago today. Even though I don't live in that part of the state, I remember that day well. The sky had that greenish tint that gives you the feeling that something you don't normally see in these parts is about to happen.

TheWatShot
Had our first thunderstorm of the year last night. Woke up to a storm at 3:30 a.m. Didn't realize until I looked at a weather report that my area was under a severe thunderstorm warning at the time with a special statement to remain alert for a possible developing tornado.

The thunder woke me up and it started raining quite heavily with frequent lightning. Took me a bit to fall back asleep.

TheWatShot
Single digit wind chills this weekend, highs in the 60's by next week.  Whenever someone asks how the weather can change so drastically in such a short time, just say "It's Indiana, it's Indiana."

Seeking6
Thankful that warm temps are on the way for those of us who call Indiana home. I saw a tweet this morning and agree 100% with it. I feel like September and October (for the most part) are still summer months and April is just one giant don't know what we'll get. Snow on Monday morning and 82 on Saturday. Happy for the kids and Little 5 this weekend though. Weather will be glorious.
