rico
Heard an interesting baseball one yesterday... Who became the first Major League pitcher to appear in an All-Star game that hadn't recorded his 1st Major League win yet?
IUFLA
Tommy Lasorda "appeared" in an All-Star game as a manager and had an 0-4 as a pitcher in his major league career, but I'm thinking that's not what you're looking for... Figured reliever but Goose used to pitch 2-3 innings every day so I thought he would have a win somewhere. Maybe Tekulve. Look forward to the answer. That was Hudek's career year as he finished 2nd in the RoY voting. He had 16 saves that year and never approached that again his very brief career. Ironically, the Astros had another young closer on the team at the same time. Hudek fizzled the other went on to save over 300 games...Todd Jones.
IUFLA
I think even Raymond Babbitt would have had to look that one up...

Drroogh
Starting QB in 1997 at ND over Montana? Had to look it up myself, but hated the idiot DUMP Devine for starting him and then having the fortitude to bring in Montana to save the game at the end??
