Love that Game Day is coming. We should have another sell out.

As mentioned on post game thread…Rourke is out vs Washington. This is the time for Jackson to step up and shine. Teams often face adversity on their way to a championship…this is ours. As for Rourke, let’s hope he’s back against MSU. Such a tremendous player.

Got there yesterday at 8am and felt like I was a little late. Definitely going to be a 7am arrival this weekend. After a small dip in temps on Thursday by Saturday the forecast calls for 70 and sunny. Thank you Mother Nature once again!

4 hours before kickoff and you felt late…🤣🤣🤣🤣 wow

It’s not that bad

To further what you’re saying…he did play 2 offensive series after he hurt his thumb including throwing a Hail Mary at the end of the half. Sounds like he could play if he absolutely needed to but the coaching staff is being cautious.

Yes, we know Jackson isn’t Rourke (not many quarterbacks are) but he’s a more than capable to fill in and lead us to victory against a mediocre Washington team at home. If in fact, Rourke is out, then I’m sure the coaching staff will design plays specifically catered for Jackson.

Jackson is most likely the next qb in line to take the reins of the position once Rourke graduates. I’m sure he will be up to the task.

On the other hand, you don't want to risk more damage before it is healed. Many important games coming up past this one.

Goes in line with what Cig said after the game. It’s a precaution. The end of the fingers have a lot of nerve endings. It can’t be comfortable. Klatt on the broadcast said it usually takes 2-3 weeks for a qb to feel back to normal with a nail injury (he also said, you can play with this injury but it can hinder you).
