Yup. The two on us involved their players diving and our guys making a play on the ball. The one that wasn’t called was their guy coming from the blindside and getting a hit to our guys head who was not diving, falling, etc. If you’re trying to influence behavior for players safety, that’s the one you should be penalizing.

We are on record.  Let’s see if we get a legit targeting call when we play Michigan or Ohio State.  I think the refs will conveniently not see any.  

The arbitrary way these rules were written, just statistically we would benefit as much as we get hurt in theory.  West had no intent.  So statistically someone on another team won’t have intent and hit us.  Of course, the ref has to “see” it.
