BGleas
It's the NCAA Tournament and in that 4/5 seed range you're almost always going to get a tough team in the first round. I mean as someone said, Seth Davia has picked every 12 seed so far. The analysts always love the 12 and 13 seeds.

Their first game is a tough draw again a team that is capable of defending them in what is basically a road game. Then they have to beat a 1 seed. That's fair. Seeking6
Sparty gets Columbus, Ohio. Someone will have to explain the rules on this stuff...unless they think KC is a gift for us? Oh well. Duke gets 5 seed but the weakest 4 seed in a long time because UT injuries.
thirdgenhoosier
Only two Big Ten teams with a 6 seed or better.

That isn't the profile of a team that worries me - obviously anything can happen, I'd rather play them than some of the other 13s. Not saying I will pick us to lose but it won't be a blow out

Tough region for sure. Will be a tough second round matchup for us assuming we don’t pull a UVA/UMBC lol.
Hoosier4Life53
Going to have to play well regardless of the opponent - look what Saint Mary’s did to us last year, and I know some will say we were worn out, because of the travel schedule, but my point is all the teams are good now…so beware.
rogue3542
Kent state shoots 24 threes per game, but they only hit an average of 8. Gotta pressure them off the three line. If they shoot above average from three, it could get ugly.

IU Scott
Purdue will have trouble getting past the sweet 16. With how Duke is playing and their size I think they would beat Purdue. Don't know enough about Memphis or FAU roster to know if they have any size to handle Edey. Also if they have the perimeter defense to put pressure on their guards

Euroclydon
Kent St guard dominant. Their rotation apoears to be eight regularly, and 4 of them are guards. And not all Seniors, which is nice. Not a lot of size. Edited March 12, 2023 by Euroclydon
