Reds lose 4-3.

In the 9th the Reds had 1st and 2nd and no outs but for some reason Bell didn't call for a hunt and Stephenson pops up. We did get a double steal so we had 2nd and 3rd and one out. Ramos struck out and Fairchild grounded out on the first pitch. Problem was in the 7th they had Ramos pinch hit fir Benson to go against a lefty. That decision came back to haunt us because Benson should have been hitting in the 9th

David Bell will take a pitcher out when pitching well to early. Today he let Green pitch way to long and let him give up 9 runs and 5 homers.

Today shows you the difference between a pitcher and a thrower. Green throwing 98 but has no movement and been pounded for 9 runs. Ryu has given up 2 unearned runs and his fastest pitch has been 90. His breaking pitches has been in the mid 70's

The pitch clock at the stadium has his change-up at between 66 and 69

Guess we should be happy for the Cubs win. Saw a stat this morning. On the year the Cubs are .250 win % on Sunday which is the equivalent of a 41 win season. That's how bad we play on Sunday.

Can't believe the Brewers might sweep Texas on the road.

Looks like they did.

Meanwhile the Yanks have now lost 8 straight games after getting swept by the Red Sawks at home.

Carry on.....

The Reds swept the Rangers as well at home earlier in the year. Reds has actually played really well against the AL west, also swept the Astros on the road. We just have trouble with our division

Funny.  The Reds can't beat their division foes.  Nor can they win at home.
