Seeking6
Bears up 21-0 on the Steelers at Wrigley today. On the other side of town....Eloy Jimenez went down again. Either hamstring or achilles couldn't tell.

Lipstick on the pig for us. Will look good in the +/- category for a couple of weeks but just random luck.
IU Scott
Reds down 4-0 I'm the 6th. The Reds have not left at the end of an inning I'm the last 11 games. The only two times they have had the lead was after they scored in the top of the first but both times gave up the lead in the bottom of the first
IU Scott
MLB has to make drastic changes on how the league is ran. The have to do something about these organizations not even trying to field a competitive team. They either need to have a salary floor for teams or make these owners sell the teams if they don't try to field a good team. The Reds last year was close to making the playoffs and if they had the new playoff format last year they would have made it. This year they didn't even call their best player Castellanos to offer him a new contract. Now they traded away a lot of their top offensive players. Now they average 2.8 runs on 5.9 hits a game. They rank 26th or worse in about every catagory except for fielding percentage. Today we saw the Cubs beat the Pirates 21-0 and saw Detroit beat the Rockies 13-0 so some of the games are not competitive. The Reds haven't had the lead for more than a half inning in the last 11 games which are all loses Edited April 23, 2022 by IU Scott

Actually, Cubs over Pirates 21-0 is a lot more believable than Bears over Steelers by that score. 1

They do have a day off tomorrow so they probably want to give Green another days rest. Also will keep the rest of the pitchers on their regular rotation

Back then, chewing tobacco was common in American Legion games. He swallowed a fist sized glob of Redman, and tossed his cookies all over the mound... I laughed so hard my eyeblack ran...
5fouls
Angel Hernandez behind the plate for the Sunday night game. The players, announcer, and fans have all been all over him, as his strike zone has been all over the place. How the dude still has a job is beyond all logical explanation. He got called out in the 7th on 2 pitches way outside of the K zone... Hernandez is one of the biggest examples of why I favor an electronic strike zone...he's always been God awful.
