  1. If Auburn/Tennessee go over (and you can count on it) you can watch the start of the IU game on the ESPN App or on ESPN.com.
  2. We need to attack the basket early and often against these guys or else they’ll just pack it in, and dare us to beat them from outside, and we all know that’s not our strength. Hopefully, we get them in foul trouble and we’ll make enough 3s to get the win.
  3. I’m 69 and in great shape - not overweight, don’t smoke, still play tennis a couple of times a week, hike and walk on a regular basis - just genetics. There are some things you can’t control.
  4. I’m trying not to get too excited, but I can’t help myself. I have bypass surgery coming up in a few days, and the doc says I need to stay calm and no stress….how’s that possible?
  5. It’s hard to believe, but I just looked at the stats, and realized on the season we’re a better shooting team than Purdue, with a FG% of 49.7% / 3P% of 38% to their 46.9%/ 33.9%. They have a slight edge in RPG and FT%. Trying to get myself pumped….anyone else on board? 👊
  6. My gut tells me he’s not back until the BTT at best, but I’ll take that. If that’s the case, hopefully be able to help us in the Big Dance.
  7. Michigan pummels Northwestern in Evanston tonight. The Wildcats shoot 3/19 (16%) from three on their home court, and they go 7/19 (37%) against us in Assembly Hall….go figure. I guess that’s life in the B10 this year.
  8. This is a little off topic, but Malik reminds me a lot of Trevion Williams when he was a freshman. Neither are great leapers, but both know how to use their size/strength to score around the basket….don’t have to have TJD’s explosiveness to be a great player. Hopefully, Malik will be with us for a few years and develop into that type of talent.
  9. Probably about ten teams that could win it all….us included (if healthy).
  10. Agree completely! Make Edey come out to the top of the key, and then take him off the drive. His only help would be Furst and TJD would absolutely destroy him. The only problem is that Edey may not follow him out because he knows TJD isn’t going to shoot from there.
  11. And we had a 3 on 1 break going that would have given us an easy basket, and some much needed momentum….really poor.
  12. Our freshmen played like freshmen, Race still not 100%, no Geronimo and no XJ. Pretty good 5 game run, all considered….on to Purdue.
  13. TJD was doubled most of the night, and still had 18 and 20….just no help.
  14. Not much to say….just a poor performance on the road, but beat Purdue on Saturday and all is good!
  15. We’ve only taken 6 threes….that won’t get it done.
  16. JHS is having a freshman night.
  17. Another one he would have dunked before the injury.
  18. We’re going to have to tighten up our defense to win this game.
  19. Agree….he’s making progress, but not there yet. Probably still a couple of weeks away, but glad to have him back.
