I understand with an All American like TJD you need to run the offense through him, but only taking 11 three pointers (and 3 of those were in the last 2 min) on the night doesn’t get it done in today’s game.

Getting embarrassed like that can end up being a positive in some cases, but I’m not sure with this team. Just can’t figure them out.

He’ll probably leave when we bring in a couple of quality transfers for next year. Hate the way it’s turned out, but it might be best to make a change. Still think he’s very talented, but it’s just not working out for whatever reason.

IU games will be covered on BTN and Fox Sports moving forward. While I personally won’t miss ESPN coverage, the network has a powerful brand, and could be used against us in recruiting battles. I can just hear a recruit and his family now….what, no ESPN? To some it’s all about exposure, and the perception could be they won’t get that without ESPN. I hope I’m wrong.

I have heart surgery scheduled at the end of the March. On my last visit with the surgeon, I was instructed to avoid stress. Obviously, he has no idea what it’s like to be an IU basketball fan!

We should have doubled her and made someone else beat us, but anyway you look at it, it was a great play by Clark. No matter who it is, the chance of catching and shooting on the move from 3 with only 1.5 sec left, is nearly impossible.

Clark is a great player, but it’s almost impossible to guard her, because the refs will blow the whistle anytime you get close to her.

Normally, I’d agree, but assuming JHS leaves early, we lose our entire starting 5 (including XJ), with only two recruits coming in. We’ll have to look to the portal to fill out the roster.

We’re back up to #14 in the CBS 25 and one from #22. We should be about the same in the AP poll tomorrow. If we finish strong this week with 2 wins, we should move into the top ten, and in a good position for a 3 seed in the NCAAs.

Can’t say enough about TJD taking a backseat to JHS, and not forcing the issue.
