  1. I’m not losing hope yet because there’s so much individual talent on this team, and the potential is so great. Will we reach it…..as CMW likes to say “only time will tell”.
  2. Leal will be the 4th option, but Cupps, Galloway and Gunn will get the majority of time, if XJ can’t go Sunday.
  3. Mgbako has a really clean shot, and needs to keep shooting 3s…once they start going in, he’ll be a game changer.
  4. Hopefully, XJ can go on Sunday against UConn.
  5. How many does he have to make before someone realizes he can shoot and guard him?
  6. I can’t believe what I’m watching…what happens when we play a really good team?
  7. What the H is going on? Play some defense!
  8. https://www.crimsonquarry.com/platform/amp/2023/11/12/23958458/indiana-mens-basketball-and-the-three-point-shot
  9. I was out of town and couldn’t watch the game live, so I watched the tape last night. Looks like Ware, Reneau and XJ will carry us this year. Still too soon to tell where we’ll be in March, but barely beating FGCU and Army at home is not very encouraging. Something that continues to amaze me is that every school we play (including low mid-majors) has knock down shooters that kill us. I realize our perimeter defense needs to improve, but you still have to make the shot even if you’re wide open, so it’s not luck…these guys can shoot. So, I have to ask…why can’t we find a couple of those guys?
  10. Would like to see more of Gunn and Banks though, but we didn’t have that luxury last night….they’ll have to earn it.
  11. Well, the last 10 minutes we were impressive….the first 30 minutes, not so much. Cupps is going to be a very good 4 year player.
  12. Daryl Thomas of the 1987 national champions is a perfect example of this. He was a McDonald’s All American, but didn’t come into his own until his Jr-Sr seasons. So yes, we need to be patient, but hard to do in today’s world.
  13. Please post the score for those of us too cheap to subscribe to B10+ 😀
  14. I agree with all of this, but still think something more than a statue would be in order. UCLA’s Pauley Pavillion has the Nell & John Wooden Court and North Carolina has the Dean Dome. Coach was an icon that transcended the sport, and was considered by many as the greatest basketball coach ever, and should be honored accordingly. Oh well, that will be determined down the road. In the meantime, RIP Coach Knight. 🏀
  15. Well said, my friend…..I share those exact sentiments.
  16. Not only a statue, but the floor should be named after him. It would be on display for all to see, especially on TV.
  17. Sad news….one of the greatest coaches ever, a basketball genius and an IU legend. Long overdue, but now’s the time to name the floor after RMK in his honor…come on Dolson, let’s get this done!
