Business as usual in West Lafayette last night...

Texas Southern 6-9
Purdue 28-40
Unreal…Woodson’s going to have to work the refs hard to make sure that doesn’t happen to us.

Stick with your man. Think of him as chewing gum. By the end of the game, I want you to know what flavor he is.Good old Norman Dale!

Worse than us? Wow, watch what happens. 😂 EVERY flipping game somebody has a career night and makes more than we do as a team. Maybe that streak ends Fri.
Somebody always does🥱

Just purchased a 12 month subscription (Black Friday Promo) for Peacock for only $19.99. Regular price is $59.99 - can cancel anytime. Only good through today, so I thought I’d try it considering there are several games (men & women) on Peacock this season.

Actually he is what he is. He’s a career 6ppg guy who’s averaging 9ppg this year because he’s playing more and getting more shot attempts. He’s shooting 21% from three which is what he shot his sophomore year. He was 18% as a freshman. He’s shooting 65% FTs which is exactly the same as last year and the year before. Maybe his 3 point shooting last year was the anomaly
He’s much better than he’s shown so far this season.

Right now Galloway is in a real funk, but he’s too good a player to stay that way….he’s due to have a big game soon. Hopefully, it starts against Maryland.

Definitely playing it out. I think Michigan, Maryland, and Auburn are all beatable. If I had to guess, I would say we go 2-2 over the next four.
You’re probably right, but I’m hoping for 3-1.

How can you not vote for Ware, but great to see Mgbako have a breakout game, and Reneau just keeps rolling. Just need our guards to step up, and we could be a really solid team.

Nobody’s been able to guard Mack…where’s Gunn?

Have we got one loose ball?

Reneau is a beast!

Now we’re starting to see Mgbako’s offensive potential.

Cupps can’t guard Mack…too athletic for him. Need to put Gunn on him.

Of course, we can’t even get a shot off, and they throw up a prayer at the buzzer that goes in.

A few weeks ago Izzo said people need to be patient with him. That he needs to get stronger, but that he has a big upside.
Sounds a lot like our situation with Mgbako…patience is required.

I think some NBA team will take a chance on him. Not saying he’s a first rounder but I could see him getting a similar deal like TJD. Just takes the right team and situation like @Common Sensesaid.
This is not a slam on Edey. He seems like a nice young man, but his game doesn’t translate to the NBA. He could go late second round, but doubtful. Wish him the best though. He’s a good college player and has represented Purdue well.

Lol he’s definitely gone. He was close to leaving after last season.
I guess he’s off to Europe then.

Why do you think Edey won't use his COVID year? The NBA isn't calling.
He’ll go undrafted, so he’s probably back

I say we will see more zone this year….
With our length it’s a great option to have.

That's a hard call to ask a Sr to come off the bench. His role has changed from last year and he needs to find his new role and get comfy with it. adjustments like that will take a little time to find. He'll pull through.
I’m pulling for him, but Gunn could put some pressure on him, and that’s a good thing.

We’ll have a pretty good idea where we really stand in about a week from now - after Maryland, Michigan and Auburn.
