Getting embarrassed on our home floor!

0-6 from 3 and 3-9 from the free throw line. Morehead already has 5 threes. How can we be this bad shooting the ball?

As team our 3 pt shooting percentage is now at 28.5% - 323 out of 351. The good news is it’s trending up….a couple more good games and we may break into the 200s!

Cupps played really well, but only scored 2 pts…does a healthy XJ get us the win?

MSU pounds Baylor, Purdue handles Arizona, Ohio St over UCLA, and we ALMOST beat Kansas. Maybe the B10 isn’t as bad as most think.

MSU trounces Baylor 88-64.

Right now we don’t have any bad losses unless the Auburn loss is considered one because of the score…not sure how that’s factored into the NET.

Most are overlooking we start 2 true freshmen, 2 sophomores and one senior. With the exception of the Auburn game, we’ve shown improvement every game. I’ll take 7-3 headed into the B10 season, especially since we’re already 2-0.

Let me clarify…we can beat anyone. We’ll finish somewhere in the top three of the B10 and make the tournament.

I was happy to see Woodson tighten up the rotation. If we can keep our starters on the floor and out of foul trouble, we can play with anyone.

I’m not big on moral victories, but I can live with a loss like that. We’ll be ok and will finish in the upper tier of the B10.

Ok, go with Walker then, because Reneau guarding Dickinson is just foul waiting to happen, and we have to keep him in the game for his offense.

I understand your point, and it has merit, but I can’t imagine an elite guard being excited about playing in our current offense. I hope I’m wrong and we land one in the portal to compliment McNeely next year.

I’ll be a tall task tomorrow without a healthy XJ…thought he would be back by now, but obviously it’s worse than most thought, and may be more than a sprain. Just hope we can keep it close to give ourselves a chance for the upset.

Nothing against XJ, but let’s hope not…time for some new leadership.
