Don't confuse people with the facts! ;)

I was looking at the teams that took the least 3 point shots to this point, and boy, it's loaded with crappy coaches like Mick Cronin, Jamie, Dixon, Tony Bennett...Hell, even Kansas is ranked 336th in 3s taken...Self don't know anything!

I understand your point, and it has merit, but I can’t imagine an elite guard being excited about playing in our current offense. I hope I’m wrong and we land one in the portal to compliment McNeely next year.

Didn't like the sounds of Coach when he said he doesn't know when Xavier is going to be back. That sounds like something along the lines of another few weeks.

I’ll be a tall task tomorrow without a healthy XJ…thought he would be back by now, but obviously it’s worse than most thought, and may be more than a sprain. Just hope we can keep it close to give ourselves a chance for the upset.

I will say that I won’t be surprised if we pull out a win and our problems will still persist for the next few weeks.

Although we can’t guarantee the team will show up with the intensity they need on any given night, you can almost guarantee that the fans will show up with the intensity this team can feed off of. Assembly Hall has a way of willing these guys to hustle and play hard defense.

I give us a 40% chance to win. And there’s also no doubt that Gallo plays much better at home - so he is my pick to click.

    I like your optimism.

I did the same thing after IU played Harvard with Malik Mack. That’s just the reality of college bball these days though. Good mid/low major players are going to be recruiting targets of high major programs. Those types of players are less risky than freshman who may or may not be ready for college ball.

So many really good players at the mid-major level that nobody outside their respective conferences has ever heard about. Has anyone on this board ever heard of Cardet Jr. before watching that game last night?

He had declared for the draft this year, but then withdrew his name. Currently projected as a second round pick. Could a year at a P5 school move him into the first round? He's from Florida. Would he go to a FL school for a year, or stay in the Midwest?

Who knows, but he’d certainly be on my wishlist if he hits the portal.

A win here would certainly be a huge piece of the puzzle. It gives us a little more margin for error in B1G play where it doesn’t feel like we HAVE to win every big game.

I don’t care what ESPN or anyone else says, when the Hall is rocking, which it will be Saturday, it’s the best home court in the NCAA. Period. We need to take full advantage of that and win this thing.

    Anything’s possible

Auburn played their best game of the year and Indiana played their worst. Auburn hit 8 more threes, had 9 less turnovers and 11 more assists. Their guard play was many classes better than ours today.

Overall, we did a terrific job keeping their star Broome to only 2 points. Rebounding was even today which is a plus because that was a concern earlier in the year. Fouls were similar for both team and Indiana attempted 6 more free throws.

We can't win when another team hit 8 more threes and we lose 9 more possessions to turnovers.

Well, at least it wasn’t all bad. Just don’t understand how we could possibly give up over a 100 pts to anybody.
