Understand your point, but if we could get a couple of really good (elite) guards that play 30+ mpg themselves, it could be special…but that’s a big IF.

That’s a real possibility unless he gets some positive feedback that Reneau and MgBako are coming back, and then maybe he decides to stick with us. With those three and possibly (pie in the sky) Queen, we’re two good guards away from being really good.

Good question…it could get a lot worse before it gets better unless we knock it out of the park in the portal, because all we have coming in next year is McNeeley.

I don’t think that will be a problem. I expect a mass exodus next year, so we probably won’t have a choice.

I’m out of here…just too frustrating to discuss today’s fiasco anymore. I think I’ll take Tuesday’s game off as well unless we happen to win, and then I’ll watch it on tape.

This should have been an automatic win. It boggles my mind that every time we get a decent lead, he empties the bench, and we kiss momentum goodbye.

I’ve been holding back on this thread, because I like Woody, and he was one of my all time favorite players, but this loss is inexcusable, and all on him. I was ok with his first 2 years, but I’m not sure we can recover from this one. While you can turn it around in a hurry through the portal, not sure another year is the answer.

We’re being outscored 46 to 9 by their guards, and have given up 12 three pointers to one of the worst shooting teams in the B10.

And they’re running us out of our gym without their leading scorer…how bad is that.

Hard to watch

Every team we play a has Baldwin Jr type guard that we can’t handle.

When you’re up by 11 at home in the 1st half, you have to put teams away or this type of thing can happen! Really disappointed the way our substitutions kill every rally we have. 🙁

Our defense was terrible. If we don’t tighten it up in the second half, we could lose this thing.

Some of it, but got the point… they were awful.

Nobody’s arguing for even, but 48 to 6 is off the charts crazy, and takes a real effort by the refs to make that happen.

The “little guard” was not too happy last night when Hoiberg benched him in the second half after taking a bunch a crazy shots in the first half. His body language on the bench was really bad, but of course, he made everything he threw up against us.

Wasn’t he the “little guy” in the movie Hangover?
