If you can get 6 quality guys you take them.  I think Archie has learned that a bird in the hand if worth more than 2 in the bush.  Now you don't reach for a project like a Jake Forrester but if you can get 5-6 quality guys like Galloway, Leal and Geronimo you take them.  There's no guarantee we get any of the 2021 guys and I don't think we currently lead for any except Lander.

A 2020 class bigger than 4 requires roster adjustment even before the 2021 class.  4 puts us at 13.  Anything more than that would require a transfer, a misguided early NBA entrant, or, heaven forbid, a medical issue.  I didn't like forced roster adjustments under Crean, and I won't like them if Archie does them either.

With all due respect that doesn’t matter at all anymore.

Name me one class in the last 15 years that all signed together as seniors in HS and graduated as seniors four years later...

with transfers, leaving for the pros, redshirts, etc it’s literally a non factor.

    • I have no idea why we would recruit to 'force' a transfer.  That's not a good way to operate in my mind.
    • No one we have recruited in the 2020 class projects as an early NBA entrant (and, yes, I've heard of Oladipo)
    • Redshirting is fine, and I wish it was used more.  But, that strategy has to be weighed against available scholarships.  It appears Archie has decided to fill up in 2020, which could limit 2021.  I'm okay with that within the boundaries of the 13 scholarships.   But, a class of 5 means the oversign, and 6 means goes one step beyond that.

I read a lot.  Almost exclusively fiction.  It's an escape for me, so non-fiction does not hold as much appeal.

My favorite book of all time is 'If I Never Get Back' by Darryl Brock.  Time traveling fantasy story focusing on the 1869 Cincinnati Red Stockings.

What I quoted will always be my favorite book.  But, if you want to have your mind blown, I recommend 'Dark Matter' by Blake Crouch.

After taking a look at that blogger’s profile, I don’t think he’s THAT Damon Bailey.

Yeah.  I was aware of that.  It was an attempt at humor.

Edit.  Okay i now see that Hoopster fell for the fake Damon Bailey thing.  I guess that does make it funny after all.

I live in a small town in southeast Texas, where a sizable portion of thier revenue is money collected for traffic violations. I've been in the jury pool twice. First time, only 3 people, including myself, showed up, so I felt obligated.

Turns out it's better than anything on TV (it's night court). I've had jury cohorts dressed in moo-moos, house coats, and overalls. About all of them are older than me, and half carry oxygen tanks, but still hustle out to butt one off during jury breaks. The lawyers are not creme de la creme, but are entertaining none the less.

I might suffer from a tinge of civic duty, but the entertainment value keeps me coming back.

I have been in the pool twice.  First time the case was settled before actual jury selection began.

The second time was a minor drug case.  I was something like potential juror #22 at the start of the selection process.  I wanted to experience the trial, so I said all the right things and snuck into the final 12 when others were eliminated.

I found the experience very interesting and would do it again.
