Someone will call their bet at some point. And, whoever does it is probably not someone that the other patrons will want to see that way.

I guess since the topic came up.
Police raid in Vietnam finds more than 300,000 used condoms being packed for resale
Saw that and was waiting for the right opportunity to bring it to the forum. You beat me to it.

Both sides need to step back and reflect. Using a taser on someone not wearing a mask is ridiculous, for sure. But, so is not following the mask mandate. Whether you agree with it or not, it's the law right now. If you don't feel you can abide by that rule, as a parent, tell your child why expressing your 'rights' are more important to you than watching him play football.

In more local news (well, local for me), my boys team is 20-3 this year. We have some end of the year tournaments coming up, so it will be interesting to see how we do. Hoping to bring home some hardware this year.
I get to go on our local radio station next week to talk about our team, so I'm pretty excited about that.
Do you have any kids that will get the chance to play in college?

I'm having a little trouble reading those newspaper headlines in the photo.

Whats going on at the CDC? https://news.yahoo.com/cdc-says-coronavirus-spreads-mainly-034950288.html
Sounds as if we all stop breathing, the virus will go away.

Looks like Cam fits in with the Pats.
The man may not be all that likeable, but Bill Belichik may be the greatest coach in the history of team sports.
Yes, he benefitted from having Tom Brady, but Brady benefitted just as much from Belichick.

Doesn't look good for P. Campbell.

Matthew Wolff fires a 65, while hitting.. 2 fairways.
Holds the outright lead at -5.
I'm familiar with the concept of hitting 2 fairways. -5, not so much.

The numbers in Europe right now are extremely interesting. Big spikes in France, Spain, and the UK. Meanwhile, Sweden has continued to stay level.

11 players shot 80 or worse today, including Jordan Spieth and Sergio Garcia.

I was listening to XRT in the car yesterday and this song came on that had me wondering if I missed it 25 years ago because it sounded like it came straight out of the late 90s. For a minute, I thought I was driving in my old Chevy Blazer. Turned out it was a new song from Semisonic. (you know, the 'closing time' Semisonic?). Pretty decent song, but it totally hit that nostalgia button for me....thought I'd share it for the 90s kids.
Good song. I really liked the video as well. It was visually interesting. Too many videos these days cop out on the visual and/or fail to tell a story.

I have not played golf for 5 years but when I played it would take me a bout 2 drives to get to 380 yards. When I was playing some I could usually hit my drive straight but was way behind my friends who could hit it far but not as accurate.
I played a round while on vacation in Michigan this summer. Shot a 45 for 18 holes. And, a damn tough miniature golf course it was.

The dude that dropped 45k on Phil to win the U.S. Open is likely having some buyer's remorse about now.

I am doing my best to ignore the moronic piling on stupidity. Same BS, it gets old.
'Moronic stupidity' would be considered redundant.
Paul George coming up short in the clutch is also an example of redundancy.

What NFL team holds the record for single season scoring average at 38.8 points per game?
I'll work on getting the team first, then the year.
The Washington Football Team?

An IU doctor is doing a Reddit AMA about his recent NYT column on COVID - just started at noon, but already has a ton of posts.
For non-Redditors, an AMA is a regular feature by people (usually famous/semi-famous, or experts) called "Ask Me Anything." And you guessed it, people ask them questions related to the subject.
Should be interesting.
Anything of particular interest for those of us unable to check in live?

The Lakers or the Heat? Whom to root for. That's a toughie.
I got it. I just won't watch!
That was easier than I thought.
