I have a few friends in the med field. Family as well. I’ve asked and not surprised at the responses. I won’t be getting the vaccine and I will just leave it at that.
Can you PM me some specifics as to why you would not consider the vaccine. There are a lot of reasons why I think I should/would get one when available, but I am curious as to legitimate reasons why I maybe shouldn't.

Update on my Brother. He finally tested negative by the standard State test, but the Lilly test still shows him positive. The other strange part is that the antibody test says that he does not have any anti bodies either.
Joe. Thanks for the update. Will certainly continue keeping him in our thoughts. Definitely a strange combination of results. Makes one think that at least one of them must be wrong.

Why stop with the umpires.
Let's have robotic players as well.
Pitchers could always throw an 'unhittable' pitch on the outside corner. But, wait, the the hitter could be programmed to always look for that pitch and set up the bat speed and launch angle to always hit that pitch out of the park. And, think of the entertainment value if the pitcher throws a beanball and the hitter charges the mound. Wouldn't a robot fight to the death be better than the sissy fights we see today?
And, we don't have to stop with the umpires and players. The managers could be robots too. How much fun would it be to see a robot kick dirt on the plate when he disagrees with a call. They would have to come up with some alternative language while arguing though. Calling the umpire an a-hole or a mother trucker really does not make much sense as insults to another robot when you stop and think about it.
Announcers could be robots as well. The Reds would not have to worry about the likes of Thom Brennaman using slurs on the air.
Robotic fans would definitely be an improvement over the cardboard cutouts we've seen this season.
And finally, robotic vendors could carry around bottles of lubricant instead of beer.
Yep. Robots are the way to go.

Ok, while you fellas are hot...
What 2 running backs have the only two 99 yard touchdown runs in NFL history?
Choosing from my list of answers above, I'll go with Monica Lewinsky for the 2nd one.

The Indiana High School football tournament is starting this weekend. 4 teams this week have had to cancel their games (and, subsequently, their seasons) because of positive COVID cases.

They are playing current movies that are supposed to be in the theater on PPV. $26 on DISH
Is that porn? Seems expensive otherwise.

Has anyone gone to the movies?
I have not. But, I was never much of a movie-goer anyway. Maybe once a year.

My wife heard from her co-worker whose wife is a nurse at a hospital in South Bend. The hospital is getting very full with COVID patients and the may have to cancel elective surgeries to make room.
Hoping that we don’t get to that point, but I’m not liking how all these numbers are trending in the Midwest.
According to the Indiana Department of Health website, Covid related hospitalizations as of today are at their highest total since May 5th.

Story claims woman died on plane in July. Just now getting counted as a Covid death. Call me skeptical. The woman may have had Covid. But, she died of something else (heart attack, stroke, aneurysm, etc.), A person well enough to get on a plane does not die of Covid 30 ,minutes later.
And, it goes without saying the validity of any death reported 3 months later than it happened has to be called into question.

Pritchard just didn't want to have to remember a new name when talking to the head coach. He can still say 'Hey Nate, we should do this".

Dolphins going with Tua at QB. Kind of surprising as Fitzpatrick has them playing pretty well.

Last I say on this because I don't want to cross over into something that breaks the board rules.
You are providing one example. Sure, there are religious people that refuse to wear a mask. But, there are people of all beliefs, race, age, sex, etc. that refuse as well.
Many teens and college age adults ignore the mask rules. My daughter got quarantined from school earlier this year because she sat next to a kid in class that was positive. This is high school. The kid would not wear her mask in the classroom because it's only required in common areas and not the classroom. I've seen high school sports fans that take their masks off the second they get through the gate even though the rule is you are supposed to keep it on the entire game, I saw a guy in the grocery the other night with his wife and kid. The guy was not wearing a mask and neither was the kid (who I would put at 7 or 8). Heck, I've got a 90 year old uncle who only ends up in a church for funerals who won't wear a mask.
Yes, the BBQ owner may be religious. But, it's unfair to paint a large brush against religion in regards to mask wearing.

Small towns, like the one I live in, are full of religious radicals who think wearing a mask violates the Ninth Commandment. They also feel it's the government's way of trying to control them.
I'm not sure religion has anything to do with it. The people I know that are against mask wearing have never set foot in a church in their entire life.

Until a vaccine arrives, I think they should be worn in all public indoor places, and at outdoor events where social distancing is not possible.
And, while we are on the subject, it frustrates me when people wear them wrong. I was at the grocery yesterday and saw 3-4 people that had the mask covering their mouth, but not their nose.

Heck, the PC culture of the 80’s took that song off the air. Can’t imagine a radio station playing it today? What station were you listening to?
Did they also play Short People?
It was satellite radio. I'm not sure which station, I flip constantly. Was so stunned it was on the air, I forgot to look to see what station was playing it.

I heard this on the radio yesterday for probably the first time in 40 years. Quite possibly the strangest song ever recorded and one of the more controversial. It teases that a man is having a mental breakdown over the loss of his girlfriend, but in the end, you find out it was his dog running away that has upset him so much.
Title of the song is They're coming to take me away. By Napoleon XIV.
Dog, cat, something else, or nothing?
