Just got email from our church, 14 members positive and 6 in hospital in critical condition. 11 of the 14 are over 65 all 6 in hospital over 65 with other health issues. Some of them are the people that swear that after election day this will all be gone.
Was standing in line to vote today and some guy behind me was telling his friend "at the end of the week, we won't have to wear masks any longer."
A lot of the things around the virus are political. But, the virus itself is real and we should change our behavior until a vaccine is available.

How is Mexico and Central America doing? I haven't heard anything.
Mexico cases peaked in late July / early August, dropped, and are increasing slightly again. Nothing like the surge in the U.S. though.
Don't really know much about Central America, and would probably question the validity of their numbers anyway.

Definitely seems to be some seasonality to this. While cases are spiking in the Northern Hemisphere heading into winter, they are dropping in the Southern Hemisphere as they are in mid-spring, headed to summer.

I'm not getting the Colts broadcast. Is J. Taylor hurt? I can see from the box, he's not doing much, but seeing from the box Wilkins start the second half in get the most of the reps concerns me.,

Indiana shatters it's single day new cases number with over 3.600 reported today. Not good news for the high school basketball season.

Saw this video tonight and thought 'Damn, Phil Collins looks just like Archie in this video during the close-up shots of his face.

As much of the country surges, Louisiana is not. Interesting because they got hit hard in the initial April surge and were hit especially hard in the July/August surge. Yet, now, in the October surge, their number of cases and deaths is remaining steady.
Now, does it mean anything? Maybe, maybe not. But worth keeping an eye on.

JK. Although I wish this to be true, i'm going to go with many of the other studies that say the contrary.
It's not only COVID that gets the conflicting studies. haha.
Flossing can cause COVID. And if you bleed to death from cutting your gums while flossing, it gets recorded as a COVID death.

If we could get everyone to understand/believe that doctored information is coming from BOTH sides, at least that would be a step in the right direction.

It's actually a fair point but more of a macro discussion. Right now the Bears are 5-2 and just a mess. Sure we might sneak into the playoffs but will lose quickly. The Bengals have their qb for the future and even if their record doesn't show it....they are trending up. Exciting to team to watch too.

As a Bengals fan, I will take the dysfunction of the Bears if I can also have their 5-2 record.

Interesting study. Shows waning immunity among those with anti-bodies among general population, but not among health workers. The theory seems to be that continuous exposure to the virus may help keep anti-bodies in the system.

The fact that the DK chasedown so clearly stood out as the play of the game, in that game with so many great plays, says a lot about it.
I mean I could list off about 5-10 PHENOMENAL plays from that game, and clearly DK takes the crown.
I saw it live and was blown away. But, after watching the replay multiple times this morning, all I can say is that it's totally absurd. It was something like out of a video game. when someone uses their magical power button.

DK Metcalf is a beast. He looked like a cheetah chasing down a gazelle after the INT lol He was easily 10 yards behind Budda Baker at the time of the INT.
That was beyond impressive. People will be talking about that play 20 years from now.
