How about Neb. they have won 3 in a row
Unlikely we would have to face them at any point in the tourney. But, let's hope the lose at some point. If they somehow won the BTT, we ain't getting in.

Yeah iconically I have no clue. I was merely speaking how good of a view I have/ease of getting in and out aisles and what not.
Seymour is huge. But the view can suck in places.
Seymour gets bonus points from me for some of the Regional games I saw back in the 80's and early 90's. I got to see Damon drop 51 on Jeffersonville in the 1988 regional at Seymour. I can't begin to describe how special that performance was.

Really? My 2nd favorite.
Why don't you like it?
Granted, the two times I've been there, it's not been crowded, but it just seemed like it was old versus nostalgic. Southridge, now that is nostalgic. Washington and Seymour are as well, but not at the level of Southridge.

Why?
I would rather play Wisconsin but the Illini are very beatable. Get kofi in foul trouble. Force them in tough 3s. They do make several of those. No reason to think IU can’t beat them.
If I was ranking the 13 teams in order with 1 being the team I would most want to play and 13 being the one I least want to play, Illinois would be 13. And, it's not really close.

Grew up 4 mins from Seymour and live 6 mins from Columbus North now.
Obviously those two places, geographically and "big enough gym" wise.. could host every weekend for boys and girls tourney. That was sort of my point earlier.. it doesnt really make sense to have certain schools host...but you let them because they are just incredible venues and you want to spread it around.
I don't like the Columbus North gym. At all.

Mods, can you move my 'Purdue Math' comment ahead of @IUFLA 's. I thought of it first, but I'm slow typing.

Well, if what I heard on the radio happens then you will see less minor league games. I heard that MLB wants to try get rid of most minor league teams and they rather open up more baseball academies.
That......would suck.

I have to wonder what some of these smaller conference athletic departments are thinking sometimes. Just saw Florida Gulf Coast fired their coach after they went 21-11 and 10-6 in conference. It is as their best record since 2017 yet they fire the coach.
I see something like that and tend to believe it's non basketball related.

What a difference a Galloway would’ve made in this game
More Galloway would have likely meant less Kopp. Considering Kopp's second half, that might not have been a good thing.

Proud of them. Hope the committee can look past some losses that occurred when Holmes was out.
Have to beat Iowa though. Do that and they will be seeded fairly.

Purdue didn’t play hard enough defense to foul. Honestly they let us get anything we wanted today. It was matador defense on the pick n roll. Some team with excellent guards in the tourney will destroy them if they don’t figure something out.
A 19-7 foul discrepancy through the first 39 minutes simply does not happen if the officiating is consistent. Does not matter how soft a team plays.
It means every call on a contested rebound or loose ball is going against the same team.

Why not the starting 4?

To me Galloway is better suited coming off the bench. To me if he is a starter your team is probably not going to be a great team. I hope TJD and XJ comes back and I don't mind if RP and Kopp comes back..
Starters.
PG XJ.
2- Bates
3 - Kopp
4- ?
5- TJD.
Bench.
PG- RP.
2- JHS.
3- Galloway
4- Geronimo
5- Duncomb.
I think we need to go out and get a 6'9 stretch 4 who is long and athletic.
If Geronimo is no higher than 9th in our rotation next year, our staff has failed miserably in the player development department.

For 30 years all the teams in the big ten probably complained how much favor we got from the refs. When I have watched these old games and was watching them with an unbias eye I realized how many calls we got especially in AH.
What happened in the 1980's should not impact what is happening now. Next thing you'll want is to eliminate the shot clock and the 3-point line. You're probably one of hose guys that thinks the game was better back then.
Oh, wait, I'm responding to Scott when talking about the 80's.

I hate to admit this, but I didn’t watch today. Played 27 holes of golf, followed some on Twitter. I’m surprised at the result, kinda. Wasn’t gonna let it ruin my Saturday!
What did you shoot?

Hey @Coach Shep,
I listened to the Purdue radio broadcast of the game. Those Boiler announcers sure were praising Xavier. Even to the point where they felt Painter needed to change his defense to contain him.
You a closet Purdue fan Rico?

I wouldn't count on any response from them. I didn't last year when I contacted them. That is one thing I give credit to Glass and Dolson I at least got a response from them.
C'mon Scott. I said in my original post I didnt want negativity. I feel good just sending it.
