Isiah Thomas averaged 3.9 TOs per game at IU. 0.113 per minute played. 81 title year, 3.1 TOs per game, 0.89 per minute played. His A/TO ratio in 80-81 was 1.87. He was one of the best to ever play. XJ's A/TO ratio this year is 1.85.

@Coach Shepdidn't like Isiah Thomas.  Chuck Franz was his main man on that team.  Dude only committed 8 turnovers the entire season.  :coffee:

My dad gave me the double disc of monsters of rock album.

Might be the most powerful pairing of song and video in history (for those who live it at least)..

  3. Special category for tonight.

Going to call this category 'The 10 Second Rule'.  Not an immediate channel change, but not one I'm going to listen all the way through.  I have to listen to about 10 seconds to get a couple of shimmies in, but there is no way I'm listening to the whole song.  More than 10 seconds and it becomes a turnover.

Wentz baggage is going to follow him.  He has now has had two teams want to get rid of him because of things to do with locker room things. Everybody I hear talk on the radio or TV talks about how mentally fragile Wentz is.

Winston was arrested for shoplifting and has been accused of sexual assault.

I don’t think today did anything to Wentz's trade value. Nobody is trading a 1st round pick for a QB that his own team has already indicated they might just release.

If you're the Steelers or whoever, you'll take a flyer on Trubisky or Winston before you even consider trading for Wentz. And if you do get to the point of considering it, you're looking at like a 3rd or 4th round pick probably.

I'll ask you the same thing I asked Scott.  Why would any team consider Winston over Wentz?

You do realize XJ has the most assists in a season of any IU player since the 2015-16 season?

You do realize that XJ has almost 100 more assists then anyone on the team this season?

You do realize that XJ leads the team in steals?

He also 2nd on the team in Win Shares and 2nd on the team in TS%, eFG% and PER.

Trayce has more blocked shots.  :coffee:

I just don't get you hatred toward him at all do I think you ate not an IU fan but a troll.

Hmmmm.  I'm going to need to google the side effects of eating a troll.  I doubt seriously that it's part of a healthy diet.

  8. That is an insane package to give up.  And, they still will not be better than the Chiefs, 50/50 on the Chargers, and the Raiders are still a playoff caliber team.

Maybe you make that deal in the NFC East, NFC South, or AFC South.  But, the AFC West?  They just mortgaged the future for a very risky investment.

This is awesome - but is Houston a bit misleading since they really haven’t beaten anyone?

Pretty sure the Effeciency Ratings factor in strength of opponent.

What it tells me is it makes sense we were able to beat Purdue and Ohio State.  Despite being weaker offensively, we were much stronger defensively.  Also helps explain why we should/could have beat Wisky.  They have an advantage offensively, but we have a very similar advantage defensively.

It also points as to how tough Illinois would be for us if we did beat Michigan.  They are the B1G team closest to the arc.

    From Bleacher Report:

    Fourth Team Out: Indiana Hoosiers
    18-12, NET: 44, RES: 62.5, QUAL: 39.0

If you take out the seven Quadrant 4 cupcakes that Indiana scheduled in nonconference play, the Hoosiers are 11-12 overall with just two wins against definite tournament teams—at home against Purdue and Ohio State. The metrics aren't bad, but this resume just reeks of missed opportunity and poor scheduling. The Hoosiers will face Michigan on Thursday for the right to face Illinois on Friday. Much like Florida's case, that looks like a pair of must-win games.

I hope people dont get overconfident if we beat Michigan.  It's 50/50 at that point.  We still may need Illinois as well.
