Just looked at the NET. Regardless of how these last two tournaments play out, there are 27 at large teams with a NET greater than IU. If that is a major factor in the decision, we should not be in the First Four.
I honestly don't know how many at-larges there are any more. I'm thinking 33 or 34?

Probably if they played us twice they would have. They’ve beat us like a drum for the last 5 years.
Be happy. We're going to the tournament.

Just now, IU Scott said:
Also been reported that the Refs haven't even contacted Costellanos about resigning him.
Heard that as well. Looks like the Phillies are making a push for him.

Don't like the Gray trade, got the Twins top pick from last year. Probably be 4 years before he reached the majors if he does at all.
It's the ultimate statement that they are not going to try to compete the next 2-3 years.

Of course, Iowa starts the game 1-8 from 3. 🙄

I agree. I had Davidson as an 11 prior to their game today. Not moving them.
Richmond's win moves either Michigan, Rutgers, Wyoming, or Notre Dame out of my bracket.
Who would you all move out of those 4?
If the committee looks at it as which of the 4 is least likely to make a run, it has to be Wyoming or Notre Dame. Michigan and Rutgers are both capable of making the Sweet 16.
Since Virginia Tech ended up being a bid stealer, I personally would probably punish the ACC and leave Notre Dame out. That said, if it is these 4 in play for the real committee, I think Wyoming is left out. the name 'Notre Dame' means something as far as national exposure.

I do my own bracketology for fun.
I have us as the top 11 seed currently.
Davidson will stay in for me as an 11 most likely.
The committee is not going to move Davidson at all. Too late for that. They stay where they were at. Richmond bumps one team to the play-in game and that team bumps a team that was slotted for play-in out of the bracket.

Purdue Math? 1 + 0 does not equal 2.

Could IU move up a seed line over Davidson?
I bet Davidson does not move. I think they were probably seeded 10 and will remain there. What Richmond winning does is move Richmond in as an 11 or 12. They can't be in the play-in, so we could see 4 12's in the play-in or 2 12's and 2 11's in the play-in.

Davidson just blew a 7 point lead in about 90 seconds.

I know one thing. It's a heckuva lot nicer to be talking about where we will be seeded than talking about what must happen for us to get in next year.

I have to admit, I did not know that the Delphi bracketology we hear about quite a bit is put out by a club in the high school in Indiana.

@Coach Shepdoes not approve of players named 'Xavier'. Time to move on.

Figures doesn't it??
My issue with playing in Dayton is, isn't that a Tuesday game? If so, after playing 3 straight grueling games, it doesn't give the guys much time to recuperate.....
It could be Tuesday or Wednesday.

I'm curious as to whether you will be able to make one of these for the full field once it is announced?
Thanks!

Up to 10 entries. No reason why we can't get to 50. Also, so that we know who you are, please remember to do something so that your board name is part of your entry.

VTech better damn well be knocking out someone like Xavier. Do the Muskateers have pictures of Lunardi and Palm doing the nasty with each other or what?

The First Four is nothing to be ashamed of. IU fans need to step back and be thankful we won against Illinois. Otherwise, the Texas A&M and VaTech runs may have resulted in us not getting in at all.
We were 9-11 in on conference and played a terrible non-conference slate.
Are we playing like a top 25 team? Yes. But, that is not what gets you in the tournament. We're going to get in. Be happy whether it's Dayton or not.

Duke ain't going to come back on VaTech. The Hokies want it more and Cattoor is unconscious.
-
Dayton is a real possibility if Virginia Tech beats Duke. If that happens Texas A&M beats Tennessee tomorrow, it's very likely we will be in Dayton.
Dayton is not what we want, but considering where we were before the BTT, we can't complain about it.

We're not going to be playing in Dayton...right? Ugh

We need to root against Virginia Tech and Texas A&M. If those two win conference championships, I think we're in Dayton. If they don't, they will both likely be in Dayton, making it less likely we are.

3 major take-aways for me
- They outscored us by 27 from the 3-point line. We have to address shooters this offseason
- We win the game if Geronimo would have been able to play
- Fran should have got a T when he got in our huddle. Now, a Bohannon 3 would have still won it even if we hit both T-shots. But, the game may have played out entirely differently.

Looks like 32 auto-bids, which means 36 at-large. We are 28th in NET among that group. Funny math going on if we fall into First Four.
