  1. Fixed it for you and got this great picture of the two of you.
  2. Here's where Indiana slotted in my Power Rankings the last two weeks. Last Sunday Incarnate Word West Mississippi Tech Louisville Hoosiers Detroit Mercy This Sunday Hoosiers Boston Celtics Denver Nuggets Harlem Globetrotters Caitlin Clark
  3. Wasn't able to watch the game. Was in the office finishing up a project coming up on its deadline. Appears I missed a good 20 minutes of ball from the Hoosiers. Will be interesting to see if we accept the NIT bid if we win a couple of more.
  4. I was expecting a thread about Wilt Chamberlain.
  5. I had to watch it a couple of times. Focus on the player on the opposite side of the lane. He bull-rushes across the lane and totally clocks the opposing player. To make it more obvious, the rebound came to his original side of the lane. He wasn't making any sort of basketball play. He was intent on hurting someone.
  6. Providence is dirty as hell. If i'm Coach Benter, they are off my regular season schedule. That stuff is inexcusable.
  7. Oh, I agree with the randomization thing. Taking it further, I don't like the 1 game regional format period.
  8. That probably has more to do with them playing Batesville and you guys playing Sullivan. In the old format, the Greensburg sectional winner used to get sent to Washington. But, with the setup now, that makes no sense.
  9. Good luck the rest of the way. I have a lot of respect for Coach Benter and the way he gets maximum performance from his players.
  10. The SC vs Scottsburg game was a good one. I think Silver Creek's only lead was 19-17, but the game stayed within 8 points most of the night. Scottsburg briefly took it out to double-digits, but the final margin was 5 or 6 points. 5 if you believe the scoreboard. 6 if you believe the John Harrell site. There was one flurry in the 2nd quarter where Silver Creek turned it over 3 or 4 possessions in a row that had more to do with the outcome than anything. in the end, Scottsburg was the better team tonight and over the course of the year.
  11. 50. First grid in a while. Verlander at 21% accounts for over 40% of my sc0re. Rookie of Year is not a strong suit of mine. and the Verlander square was my last one. I decided not to push the envelope and go with the sure thing.
  12. Was at the Scottsburg sectional tonight to watch Silver Creek top Madison and hung around to watch Scottsburg dispose of Corydon. I mention that because Scottsburg has a chance to win a state title this season. Very balanced and veteran team with 4 seniors and 1 junior in the starting lineup. Not deep at all, however So, this season is obviously their opportunity if they are going to do it. So, my question to the Scottsburg coach is why he's playing his starters up 32 with three and a half minutes left. One rolled ankle and your opportunity is gone. Sure your bench is inexperienced. But, they aren't going to give up a 30 point lead in 3 minutes. It wasn't until the Corydon coach cleared his bench first that Scottsburg did theirs. I'm a Silver Creek fan, so if that injury scenario plays out, it benefits my team. But, your team and your fans deserve better. Your bench should have been cleared 3-4 minutes before it was.
  13. Or, he could take the Tom Crean approach and send a text that says something like "I have been thinking about you a lot since last weekend. A whole lot."
  14. Maybe it's recency bias, but the toxicity surrounding this coaching staff seems to be worse than what surrounded Crean and Archie in the weeks leading up to their firing.
  15. You're acting like the Billy Donovan and Brad Stevens to IU rumors were false. Well, I'm here to tell you that you are wr.....never mind.
  16. It's very possible that Indiana's offseason this year has similar turnover as what Crean faced his first year. That is not a job for Dusty May. A massive rebuild at a school with the expectations of Indiana is too big of a bite for him. And, I'm sorry, but no one will ever convince me it would be okay to hire Chris Beard. Charged or not, you just can't have that incident in your history and be the face of a University. A rebuild involving massive roster turnover would be in Pearl's wheelhouse. I'm not totally warm and fuzzy with some things he's done, but they aren't factors that should totally eliminate him. IU cannot afford a miss (if a change is made). If there is someone out there with the salesmanship and coaching skills of Pearl, without some of the grey area stuff, that could rebuild the roster immediately and win, let's get him. If not, then Pearl would be my choice. He obviously respects Indiana basketball, has a great passion for what he does, is a proven winner, and could quickly turn things around.
  17. The dude talking to him is saying "St. Peter's"? FDU?. Trent wants to know when you're going to win something in March."
  18. Apparently, Tim's widow died today....of cancer. that's some unfair shit right there.
  19. Work is beating me down guys. My brain cells aren't working right now. Keep the fire burning with these until I can come up for air.
  20. Tonight's only half over, but so far in the state tournament this year, in the first night and a half, there have been 4 teams score LESS THAN 20 points in complete games. Barr Reeve beat Washington Catholic 91-13 tonight. Trinity Greenlawn scored 10 whole points last night. A host of other teams have scored in the 20's. Connersville beat Franklin County 30-25 in OVERTIME. People complain about class basketball. Can you imagine some of these scores if these teams were playing Mega Schools? Indianapolis Herron scored 17 last night against Guerin Catholic. What kind of damage would Fishers or Ben Davis inflict on them? I don't ever remember a season where there were this many really bad teams.
