"Early findings suggest that the coronavirus could be prompting the pancreas to self-destruct"
This is one that’s entirely possible. Viruses can sometimes attack a particular organ/system. Ebolavirus has a particular affinity for the kidneys.

I think I said it a few pages back...."there is no problem too big that govt can't create...that more govt can't fix"-said by all politicians everywhere.
Reminds me of one of my favorite Reagan quotes: “The scariest thing that any citizen will ever hear is ‘I’m from the government, and I’m here to help’.”

Not sure using Wikipedia as a source helps anything. My Wikipedia page can say I’m worth ten billion dollars and am going to buy the Chicago Bulls. Anyone can post nonsense on Wikipedia.
Like I said, I don’t even know who Jack is. The resignation was worldwide news, his tweet was just one that was trending. It’s not like I meant to post a “far right wing” tweet. I’ll post the CNN tweet next time.
While it’s still subject to some getting through, Wikipedia’s “BS filter” is much stronger than it used to be. It’s still entirely done by a network of volunteers, but there’s a lot of them, and on a high traffic page, something entirely outlandish wouldn’t last for more than a few minutes. It’s remarkable how vigilant/quick some of them are.

And of course, the mayonnaise is served on the side. Actually putting it on that delicious, mouth watering pile of cholesterol would be unhealthy.

So this would be limited to just game 5/7/single game playoff walk offs, correct? Not simply games that closed out a series?

But the day comes when the kids are gone, and you have no one else to blame it on...
And according to my wife, I'm always the perp...
Like I’m allowed to use the front door anyway

Rico....most days I think she can barely stomach living with me....I think she is under the impression that I was raised by hillbillies as she doesn't have the highest opinion of those of us born in the Hoosier state. The very little I know of you (and love and appreciate about you) I don't think she is going to find it nearly as charming as you think lol. Not sure where she got it from (ok I do...her mom lol) but you would think growing up in Southern Illinois she wouldn't confuse herself with Martha Stewart lol.
Also I think she would be confused....pretty sure she believes coffee is only sold via a k cup lol.
Wait wait wait…..she’s from Southern Illinois and thinks of Indiana as being hillbilly?
Pardon me one moment…..
As someone who has spent long periods of time in the southern parts of both states, I’d welcome her to show me this hidden enclave of sophistication in southern Illinois….because I sure as hell haven’t been there.

I can picture my jacket lying on that seat right now! 😉
Given where the kids usually fling them, that would be a victory.

If you saw my house right now you would shoot yourself. It's under "construction" .
For every project I finish I have 3 more say hello.
Thank God I have the time and money to fix it all.
It's been a hell of a year and the last 3 months have slowed me down because of my physical condition.
Sounds like my garage and utility room.
And under construction never bothers me. I have the ability to see things in their finished state and look past the current chaos. But my level of obsession/perfectionism has taught me to only have one thing going at a time.
Now the other person whose name is also on the title to this house…..much different story. 🤣

It's driving me nuts. Fix it.
Don’t tempt me. 😂
I have been known to wet sand molding to get rid of small paint ridges. Nothing insane….just 400-800 grit. Going all the way to 3200 grit would just be obsessive…….I save that for actual furniture, not trim.

Almost forgot…there was (of course) an outlet on that wall right where the 2nd vertical piece of molding is. So I could either interrupt my molding run, or….
….get creative. I relocated the outlet about a foot to the left, and have a box extender running through the back of the storage box, so that the outlet is mounted directly into the back. And then this little beauty is flush mounted into the side and plugs in to said outlet. It’s actually one meant to be mounted flush into a desk/conference table, but serves this purpose just fine.
Edit: And yes, on the top corner of the hole for the power strip, I took about a 1/4” too much off with the router. But if anyone ever has their head on my floor and wedged into the 20 inch space between this box and my closet door…..they’ve got more issues than me.

Well, another coat of primer, 320 grit scuff sand, and two coats of paint later…it’s close. Just need to connect the hinges on the lid, paint the lid and install the hooks.
Edit: Took a wider shot this time to show spatial relationship to the front door.
Edit 2: And yes, swapped the standard switch to the rocker style with a screwless cover, since this is now a “finished” area. Like I said earlier in this thread, it’s my weird fixation….lol.

I eat chili for breakfast as well. But then again, I eat chili year round. Usually with crackers; however, an occasional butter & peanut butter Sammy is also good.
I’ve had chili omelettes before. Sounds kind of strange, but surprisingly good.

According to rivals, it appears Edward Hartig from Evansville Memorial (My alumni) has scheduled an unofficial visit to the MSU game on 10/16. He currently plays RG for our team this season and is around 6’6 290/300 Lbs.

If all goes accordingly to what I am hearing and the announcement comes this week its Indiana. If decision gets pushed back just means he is considering what Rice might be saying does not necessarily mean anything negative for sure but thats when I might get concerned. As of today things feel like he is Indiana's to lose

Could be...maybe Pozole de Pollo got it's start in the Mayberry Diner!
A) Pozole is considered to be a hangover remedy by some. Would’ve been a hit with Otis.
B) Can’t you just hear Barney trying to pronounce that? “Yeah….gimme that pozz-oh-lay de po-low”.- 2
