I don’t think I posted these shelves I made. I found a piece of live edge sycamore at a flea market so I grabbed it. I cut around the knots to get some slabs with square(ish) ends, sanded the crap out of them, and added some finish.

Nice! Just eyeballing, but some shade of Walnut stain?

Stand in front of the goalpost and try to block a field goal?

I say that because I remember a game he tried to do that for the Chiefs...if I remember right, he was like 6'9 or so...

Or was it using teammates as a ladder on kicks?

    The former.

He was 6’10” and would basically goaltend the crossbar.

I agree. For some reason I hold more hostility towards Armaan. Durham served his time with a subpar program. I wish him well. Armaan, I hope Virginia misses the NCAA tournament as long as he is there. But it’s hard to not think of the what if’s with Armaans performance tonight.

Oh no….I hope Virginia makes the tournament….and is eliminated by IU in consecutive years.

I wish he would talk more.

Definitely the hype man of the staff. Seems like he’s the “cool older cousin” personality type. An authority, but one the kids can connect with and relate to.

Top to bottom, I love this staff. Fife as a clear 2nd in command, Matta in the “consigliere” role, Hunter for continuity/existing knowledge of the roster and Ya as the young, energetic up and comer. Well balanced across age ranges, personality types and experience levels.

Good call...that SPAC was bound to have huge enthusiasm.  Equally good call in unloading them when they got bid up into silly territory.

I knew it would have a good run up because of being tied to you-know-who.  Someone that polarizing is going to drive action.  Never expected it to be that high though.  I'd have been thrilled with doubling my money on it.

And I had my finger on the trigger since 7AM Friday.  Something that huge a) cannot be predicted and b) cannot last.  Better to sell and miss some profits on the upside than miss them all on the downside.  I laugh at the comments still being made about "This can go to 500!!" Yeah, right.  Ride's over, exit to your right.

  6. Disclaimer: The following will be discussing a stock closely tied to a political figure, but will refrain from discussion about said political figure directly.

Did anyone ride the wave on DWAC last week? Unreal.  I tossed a grand into it during the pre-market on Thursday just for gits and shiggles and....yeah.  In at 12.71, sold at various points between 70 and 132.  Bought 2 grand worth of the warrants during after hours on Thursday for 20, sold them between 37 and 51.  Cleared 6 on the common stock and 2 on the warrants.

Was bleeding them off progressively all Friday morning, and dumped everything I had after the 2nd trading halt that morning and absolutely glad I did.

First time I've ever hit a score of THAT magnitude.  Still in shock actually.

There are 2 QBs in NFL history to have a career winning percentage above .600 while also throwing at least 10 more interceptions than touchdowns.  Name them.

Hint:  Both are in the Super Bowl era.

This is a hard one. I looked up all my guesses and 0-fer. I thought of Favre, Lamonica, Phil Simms, Doug Williams…nada.

Don’t remember who the O-Line coach was when Wilson was head coach but would love to have him back. Our O-Line used to be a big strength back then. Hiller has been bad he has got to be let go

if the offense doesn’t get better Sheridan as well. I’ve watched a lot of other offenses last couple weeks college and NFL just to compare to Sheridan and it’s not even close. The creativity and deigns have been better than Sheridan  in about every game  I’ve watched. He reminds me at ton of Deboard. The old OC we got Tennessee. Defense is just Teeing off on us because our O- Line isn’t good and our play calling is just as bad.

Have to remember, Wilson wasn’t just an offensive guru, he played center during his playing days. I’d say he was probably half of the OL coaching.

Good deal! We like new teammates. Still have some of mine from January....and the signs are there for another pop between now and 11/4 if everything I'm reading is correct.

I think we’re reading it the same way then.
