I’m not even sure what Fran is upset about. These have been very obvious calls on Iowa.

This sounds like the inverse of how it’s been lately: we have the 11th ranked defense and the 69th ranked offense in the nation, up against the 3rd ranked offense and 154th ranked defense.

I wish we hadn’t blown that 10 point lead, but good to see them answer the bell after we did. Nice to see flashes from pre-concussion Rob.

Yeah, I get that, but it doesn't change the fact that IU's roster is loaded with guys who can't shoot.
That’s why we have to play D like we did tonight. We’re not going to win a track meet, but we might be able to win a few wrestling matches.

That’s more like it.

Her appearances on The Late Late Show when Craig Ferguson was host were always hysterical. RIP

If such a miracle could occur, an Indiana vs Washington Rose Bowl would be interesting.
An Indiana vs anyone Rose Bowl would be interesting, but this would just be icing on the cake.

I think Allen & Company will have our QB situation sorted out sooner than later.

I know many on here only care about the men’s team but the ladies just dismantled 20th ranked OSU at OSU.
Teri Moren is probably the best coach at IU currently, regardless of program.

Both of them saying Fife has no game anymore but he still talks crap all practice had me laughing.👍
That’s why I love this staff. With the careers that Woodson and Fife had, they’ve got a little room to talk a little smack. You’d check your ego a little if Fife did something like pointing up at the FF appearances banner and saying “‘02 is mine…where’s yours?”

I'm sure he was. Like I said, my post wasn't really a call for Crean to be back or even meaning IU shouldn't have parted ways. I was ready for him to go, and his time had run out for sure.
But, his 5 year run from 2011-2016, while inconsistent in the middle, at least was fun basketball with probably the most success IU has had since 2002.
I think as time goes on, the, “approval rating” so to speak, of Tom Crean will improve. Is he ever going to be an all time legend? No. But I think the general opinion will shift back to where it belongs: that he was above average but inconsistent.

I just wish Adidas made shoes in wide sizes...I make Bigfoot look like Hack Wilson...
That said, I love New Balance shoes, but as God is my witness I will never wear the ones with the velcro straps no matter how old I get
That’s actually why I came to prefer adidas. I’ve got slightly narrower feet, and that’s the way adidas tends to run. If a line of shoes has them available, I go with “C” width as opposed to “D” which is “normal”.

The crap we do for pets.... AND wives/ kids. Had you screamed, as we all did, it would have been a story for them to tell for their entire lives. We all to often pass polite, with good intentions and they other party misses out on a funny story (although they where pissed at the time of the story lol).
Considering this was with my older son, I don’t regret it one bit. His first 3-4 months were brutal on sleep. As it turns out, he had a milk protein allergy that he eventually grew out of, and was (still is) a hungry kid. Made for some bad stomach cramps for him and a lot of sleepless nights for us all. If he was asleep, we didn’t chance it. Hell even the dogs picked up on it. They’d be noticeably more quiet at night, as if they were saying “Don’t wake up the loud tiny human!”…lol.
And, the memory I have of the dogs looking up at me with that expression is every bit as priceless, especially now that they’ve been gone 1 and 3.5 years.

That's Leila, our (mostly) inside-outside cat. Could not get her out of the picture as she was apparently insistent on showing the world her RBF.
Behavior also known as “cat”. 🤣
