One year, my wife put a Halloween costume on one of our dogs. She got the same look in return. The “I could murder you in your sleep if I wanted” look.

Apologies if this has been answered in another thread, but when a player goes into the TRANSFER PORTAL, are they entering something akin to

    - The Door in Beetlejuice

    - The Gate in Stargate

    - Chimneys in Harry Potter

    - The Sling Ring in Dr Strange

    - Another portal I'm not even thinking about a la Hot Tub Time Machine or Back to the Future?

Or am I just greatly misinformed over here??

Do y'all have a lot of good analysis here? The boards for MBB out here in the Pac12 are always dead, especially this time of year.

This board slows down during the summer, but it’s never really dead. Late summer/early fall has been helped by the recent run of IU football (2021 not withstanding…ugh).

The Indiana fan base is for the most part fairly to extremely basketball savvy, so if anything, we tend to boil everything down to the n-th degree and over analyze. Indiana is also unique in the sense that there’s a fairly large segment of the fan base that are staunch basketball “traditionalists”, both off and on the court. Most are somewhere in the middle, but you won’t find many “win at all costs/be as modern and edgy as possible” fans.

    You know your film.

Just started messing around with film a few years ago. I was always strictly digital, but I found a really nice Manfrotto camera case at a garage sale in my former subdivision for $10. When I picked it up, I felt it had weight in it, and there was an old Rebel 2000 SLR body in it. Asked the owner if he wanted it back and he said he hadn’t used it in years. Like I said, I have always shot Canon, so I had plenty of glass and accessories that would fit it. And now I have a free 35mm SLR.

I normally take a film and a digital camera on big trips, but for our May Italy trip coming up, I’m just taking the Olympus with a fistful of Kodak Gold 200 film. I love how that stuff looks - just looks like summer in the 1970s!

Yep…heavy saturation + fine-but-not-too-fine grain. Nice warm, vintage feel, especially on outdoor shots.

I'm actually not 100% sure that isn't what the floor is suppose to do anyway. Absolutely don't have the information to make a definitive statement...

If it was a player landing on the floor on his shoulder/back/etc and you saw a large section of floor bend down to absorb the impact, you’d be right. It’s better for a floor to give that way to absorb some of the energy vs being completely rigid. However, that looks more like a single plank coming up, causing his toe to get hooked in it.

Remember my friend and I taking a trip in the early 70’s. Drove the PCH from Washington to San Fran. And then over to Reno. Part of the deal was he bought an Olympus and I bought a Tamron zoom lens. Still have the lens but no camera to attach it to. Need to dig it out and send it to you to see if it fits?

That’s some decent glass if its 1970s vintage. I’m betting it would. I’ve always been a Canon guy, but I don’t think Olympus changed lens mountings often, if at all.

It’s still man slaughter potentially if you hit and kill a pedestrian while speeding.

The likelihood of charges and conviction are lower, but it’s still there.

Isn’t manslaughter a possibility if you hit a pedestrian even while going the speed limit?

Has his health improved that much over the last 12 months?

It’s possible, particularly in an area like the back. A year's worth of rehab with no additional setbacks can do wonders.

That and the head coach at IU is a lot more pressure and demanding than the head coach at Butler.
