I'm sure it offends someone.
The story used to be called "The Ant and the Ladybug", but that was gender insensitive, and "The Ant and the Non-Binary Xug" just didn't sound right.

The key point is hired guns. Vic and Cody were NBA talents, but not hired guns on any sense. In fact, VO wasn't considered NBA talent until his Jr. year.
And all the credit in the world to him.....Vic also graduated in 3 years. That's not what a kid looking straight to the NBA does, because that takes some dedication in the classroom.

Definitely NSFW, but look up his reading of "50 Shades of Grey" on YouTube. It's absolutely hysterical.
And RIP.

Even the Hulls, Watford, Vic, and Zeller team? I wonder if hulls shoulder was healthy could they have pulled that off?
There were no Hired guns on that team. A perfect sprinkle of NBA talent with 4-year players.
Doubtful. Crean was lost vs Boeheim’s zone. Hulls would have helped spread the floor a little more, but that one wasn’t in the cards.

Don't worry, we will teach your kids to graph a polynomial function, show them the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell, and let them know that if their parents bitch enough... they can get their way.
Don’t worry, there are some of us out there picking up the slack. My 10 year old already has the basic understanding of what a stock is.

Resurrecting this, if only just to brag. Like many, I got in to trading options, and yeah....
....I kinda like it. If you're looking for a new hobby, I'd probably recommend drugs instead though. They're cheaper and less addictive.

I think every high school should show this.
The concept of building wealth is extremely lacking in schools, and is sorely needed.

Not sure how close our comrade @Lostin76 is to the horrible tragedy in Brooklyn this morning. Hoping he's safe.
Second this.
By a strange coincidence, my wife and I were set to take a trip to NYC this week, and we wound up cancelling two weeks ago.

and more specifically, when Yogi hit that jump stop 3 in transition. Man, he was good.
Yogi could go from 100MPH to a dead stop better than anyone. That sudden pull up 3 was lethal.

Yes, my dad swears by that.
Anyone that can tell me that at least one out of either AT or ARE shouldn’t have a Heisman is out of their damn mind.

It's common knowledge a standard cheeseburger is not particularly healthy. But, if you add bacon, it becomes a much more health conscious selection.
Throw a fried egg on it too. Now you’ve got 3 of the 4 food groups: chicken, beef, pork.

Vince McMahon announcing IU games? That hope is becoming a reality
Vince’s voice is shot. My youngest has gotten into WWE as of late and that big commanding voice he had in the late 90s is just a low gravelly growl.

And I’m sorry in advance, but I reserve the right to revert to 17-year old me for a moment if I see Vince and or Shane-O-Mac in IU gear.

Seems our recruits under Woody are all getting honors. JHS leading his team to a championship, Banks and Cupps players of the year. I know we all love Indiana kids but let’s face it…we’ve had a lot of those past several years without much success to show for it. I’m all for the right ones but I’m not going to ignore winners and talent just because it lies beyond state lines. The world of basketball has grown a lot since the 50s/60s/70s/80s and 90s…basketball isn’t just special in Indiana…it’s global and it means as much and is played as well all over as it is here in Indiana nowadays.
I think it’s a hybrid approach. We should always be in the running for the top 1-2 kids in the state, but always have open eyes for talent. RMK had pipelines to Ohio and Illinois, not just in-state. And now with modern technology and travel, recruiting nationally should also be an expectation.

Story of my life....better late than never, but here's a few of my favorite cover artists:
One of the only worthwhile things to come out of Lexington, KY. Their covers are mostly true to the original. Phenomenal guitar performance on the outro of this one....
And one more, although this guy is more interpretive. He does a great job of converting non-metal songs into "metal inspired" renditions:
