Saw the transfer from South Dakota St. eliminated UK because he didn't get the NIL deal he wanted and didn't get the role he wanted in the offense.  These players are now starting to be divas like pro athletes.

Most were anyway. Now they’re just getting comparable pay.

Smith Creek is the distillery in the outlet mall, but you are not far off. The place I believe you are thinking of is Junction 35. It’s in the outlet mall and a nicer restaurant. First time I went there I was drunk off of moonshine at Smith Creek with NO food in my system. Very smart to go sample moonshine on an empty stomach.

“Someone bring this man some food”

Pork chop in a glass, my friend. 🤣

I know a lot of people blame Tony George for the split with CART on Indy's decrease in popularity...

    How do you guys feel?

Edit: I’ll soften that just a touch….FTG for letting Bernie Ecclestone (aka The Antichrist) get in his head.

Looks like the deal is done for a 33rd entry. I miss the old days when qualifying was a big deal. You think Scott is bad with 80’s college hoop worship, you should see me with my old school Indy love.

Pole Day used to be the 2nd largest auto race in the world.

    And @Zlinedavid

Got an email today announcing that the company I work for is going to be the official jersey sponsor for the Blues in the 2022-23 season. They have created 3 commercials to introduce this and one of them will air 4 times on the Blues’ broadcast tomorrow night

It’s interesting how sponsorships like this have shifted so far into B2B vs Consumer.

I'm glad Coach Woodson threw the strike even if it was a low sinker.  No need to throw low punches at Coach Matta(not that you were but it's so low hanging fruit). I wish him very well and good health.

Hey…the man is in his 60s with bad knees, and he still was able to get it from the mound over the plate without a bounce. That ain’t half bad.

I assume you graduated with 95% of your Kindergarten class, as well?

I'd say more like 75%, if they all would have stayed in.

My school district's logistics were designed by someone during a bad acid flashback.  The county was split into two districts, and this is a county of 15,000 people.  Lunacy to begin with.   In my district at the time, there were 3 physical locations that had kindergarten: we'll call them A, B, and C.  School C was actually logical: K-4, either 1 or 2 classes per grade.  If you went to school B, it also had K-4, 1-2 classes per grade...but we'll be coming back to this one.  School A housed 2 kindergarten classes.  All 3 schools then combined when we hit 5th & 6th grade, which was housed in school A.  7th-8th was housed in School B.  And then all in one high school....which was a block and a half away from School A.

The grade above me was like that lol

I think like 10 of those dudes have done time in Federal Prison. Good group of dudes. 😝 ... one was on Jerry Springer. Lord, I wish I had that episode saved .

Oh half of my class would have been good Springer guests, let alone the dropouts. I know at least two are doing time for meth manufacturing.

And people wonder why I skipped the 10 and 20 year reunions. Why bother? It’s South Bumf**k, IL. I could find 75% of them within an hour if I wanted.

If not for one little roller, that would have arguably been the greatest pitching performance in MLB history.

I'd never seen a game before or since where every batter in the lineup was overmatched...and that was a pretty good lineup...

A really good lineup: Bagwell, Biggio, Derek Bell, Moises Alou, Carl Everett…

4 of those guys hit .300 that year, and Everett just missed at .296.
