What legal issues? You take Beard in a second. Cheaper, younger, better coach.

Agree.  His fiancee at the time copped to her part in the dispute and all charges were dropped. More importantly, he doesn't have a track record for this kind of behavior.  It's unfortunate that it happened, but it doesn't seem to be a recurring issue.

Maybe I'm wrong but I don't recall a decent coach leaving the ACC, BIG 12 and or SEC for the Big Ten in the last two decades. Maybe there was 1 but I think that proves my point. If some says Brad Underwood may god have mercy on your soul.

Mark Turgeon.  Left Texas A&M for Maryland.  Maryland was still in the ACC at the time, but I believe the move to the B10 had been announced.  It was right around that time, I know.  Early 2010s.

Tubby Smith we won't count considering he was "encouraged" out of UK.

On the flip side, the only significant voluntary departure I could think of to another major conference was Self leaving UI for Kansas.

I woke up thinking about this.  The intention is how to rebuild, not who is the coach, ok?  However I do understand that will make a difference.   Get a new coach, expect at least 1 guy to follow from that previous school,  maybe more.

How to hit this portal?  Clearly the need is guards and one more big. Do you go best player available or target guys with specific skills and characteristics?

Can we get another late highly touted freshman decommit?  I know we have so many question marks that it's hard to answer.

Also have to factor rerecruiting your own guys.  Who do you ask back?  Do you want an Indiana kid, going to be a junior, in Gunn.  Looking like Banks is out.  And Gunn has been getting more minutes.  Is Cupps even a high level B1G player?  And the word is Leal is done with ball.

    All of the above.

I can’t. Dad is a Cardinals fan. My mom is from Jersey and I used to spend a couple weeks every summer up there from the time I was born, so unfortunately I’m a Yankees fan. Looks like I have more titles than him in both sports. 😂

From the blue and orange side of the subway.....shove it in your cakehole 😂

Yeah, I agree with your overall point that we should be way more competitive than this. Just didn’t necessarily agree that we had that many individual players performing at or above their “star ranking”.

Regardless of what ratings we give to individuals, I think it's safe to say that everyone agrees that the whole is coming out to be a lot less than the sum of the pieces.

I can take it. But we’re 14-12 (6-10)…. With the environment and rhetoric going on, I’d say bad timing. This isn’t a Purdue board. I wouldn’t poke the bear on a Purdue message board with a similar situation going on. Do any IU fans even participate on Purdue forums?

He's good, man. Far from a problem. Besides, if you want to get him back, just start talking trash about Cardinal baseball.😂

Your bottom two are not very accurate. How many starting guards in the BIG do they outperform? For Cupps, the answer is probably zero.

Agree.  Cupps is more of an unranked at the moment, and Galloway is....call him a borderline 3/4 star.  When he isn't a focal point, he's a nice piece to have.  But he's a supporting cast member, not a headliner.

They've built 3 or 4 around the Houston area... Closest to me is at The Woodlands Mall...it's always mobbed...

I like In-N-Out ok... Double double animal style...

But Whataburger still reigns supreme around here...

Oh I know. If I ever need to intentionally piss off a room full of Texans, I just state my preference of In-n-Out over Whataburger. 😂

The only suspense is whether Tyra (Buss) Davison is there in a Wisconsin sweatshirt

I’d rather see her out of a Wisconsin sweatshirt. :coffee:

I won’t say anything more so 5fouls doesn’t get too revved up. I think his restraining order is still in place.

Big Ten refs are the worst. Maryland kid finished a layup in traffic and yelled And 1 and the ref gave him a Tech.

    Just ridiculous.

The Purdue/Rutgers game last week was just as bad. I’m fine with keeping egregious trash talk to a minimum, but a quick display of emotion isn’t a T.

  11. I don’t live within 800 miles of one, but I’m an In-n-Out fanatic. Fortunately, my company’s home office in Dallas is 2 blocks from one, so I get my fix a few times a year.

  12. I’m also a Pizzello owner, but I went for the dual fuel pellet/propane model. Starting to get the hang of it, but realized this thing just rips through pellets, and there’s no auto-feed hopper.

Biggest thing….making homemade dough. All the difference in the world. I could seriously make a batch of dough and throw sauce on it and eat the whole batch.

That team was so easy to love, enjoyable to watch and had so much personality.  I get it, they had a couple NBA level players on there and a couple other who were over seas professionals.  But they were easy to root for. and VO is in my top 5 all time players

And such a blend of personalities too. Vic and Sheehey were the confident-bordering-on-cocky flashy ones. (Ok fine, Will was over that border at times 😂). Yogi was quiet but intense. Zeller was the jokester. And Hulls and especially Watford were cool and unflappable.

Go back and watch the WatShot. When that ball hits the net, Christian is the calmest dude in the building. Just left that follow through hand up like a gunslinger blowing the smoke off his Colt.
