Still wished that Ballard would have swung for the fences last year and moved up to the first pick and picked Stroud.
With what it cost Carolina, that may be pushing it. 2023 1st & 2nd, 2024 1st and 2025 2nd....pretty steep price, but might be worth a gamble. Throw in a number 1 WR on top of it? Ehhhh.....

Mixon isn't a needle mover.
I wouldn't be so sure on that. If you exclude 2020, when he was injured in week 6, he's averaged 1000 rushing yards and 8 TDs on 4.1YPC. He's also underrated as a receiver out of the backfield (333 yards, 44 receptions, 2 TDs average) and will be a great relief valve for CJ. He's also reliable, having only lost 4 fumbles in 6+ seasons.
Only real worry is that he's entering the 8th year of his career. He's really only had one major injury, which was in 2020...some kind of undisclosed foot injury. He's missed a game here and there with minor stuff, but overall has been pretty healthy. No major knee or ankle problems anyway.
Is Mix a franchise back like a Derrick Henry or CMC? No, but he's a heck of an upgrade from what they had, and if he stays healthy, will give that offense a new dimension.

The world has gone mad. What is the minimum NBA salary for an undrafted rookie free agent that makes a team?
$1.1M for a player with 0 years of service.
From there, it depends on how many years the player has been in the NBA and how long the deal is. The rest can be found here:

KU and UK have been getting paid for years, same with Duke. Their lockerrooms seem to be fine.
UK had a higher payroll than the Clippers when Sterling still owned them.

Any idea of the origin of this ? It totally explains a lot but I'm wondering of it's origin.
No idea. Just used that or “Christ on a cracker” as a phrase for years now.

I think the most important thing is that the court dimensions are accurate, unlike the Portland regional site for the women's tournament. How in the world do you play four games with no one noticing?

Christ on a crutch…..I haven’t seen that shot of it yet. I thought it was a matter of a couple inches but you can visually see that.

My name is max Montana I shot threes in college and put my ball in the hole now I shoot scenes and still put the ball in the hole….
They say I’m a load when I drive to the hole. I’m even good at backdoor cuts. Don’t try and faceguard yourself, because I’ll blow right through it.
And I’m stopping now. This is way too easy. 😂

That was his first win, not his last.

Well, from the corner of SE Indiana/Northern KY/SW Ohio….that was a big nothingburger. Maybe a 15 minute normal thunderstorm and that’s about it.
Hope everyone else was just as lucky.

I gave up all sports except for college basketball, the last stand. But the portal and NIL and other monies have severely damaged the game as we knew it. The refs are the handlers of the outcome for the most part. As more money gets pushed into sports the more obvious it becomes.

Agree. He's not one to underestimate though. He's not going to break one for 80+, but I've seen him rip off several 40-50 yarders. I could see them using him as a feature back for one year and finding someone to platoon him with after that. He'd make a great third down back.
