next coaching cycle I would put bill Murray’s son, Luke, at the top of my list to at least talk to/ do due diligence on. I was watching something last night, and Luke is the maniac behind UConn’s offense. All he does is watch basketball. FIBA, Europe, China, whatever. Anything. Everything. Took what he saw and developed their offense out of it.

Mario Lemeuix won an NHL scoring title in 1992 while missing time and playing through Hodgkin’s radiation treatments….and both medical science and training techniques have come a long way since then. If the docs are giving him the all clear, I’d assume he’s full speed ahead.

Oats ain’t going anywhere. He’s just done the equivalent of taking IU football to a NY6 bowl. People love it, but has spring football started yet? High bankroll and low pressure. He’d be insane to make that jump. 

Drew was one of my prime picks, and he at least listened. 
 

Sampson is still the one that scares me. He’s a solid coach that plays a really fun style, smooth talker in front of parents, boosters and the media, and knows how to operate in the grey area of the rules. Giving him a high profile platform like UK….😬
