Rabby has finally spoken. He said that there have been conversations and if IU jumps in the mix then IU will immediately become a contender.

I think the real answer to that has yet to be answered but it's likely one of a handful of scenarios.

That's what usually happens. When Rabby goes silent there's usually something to it.

I do find it interesting that Rabby, Trevor, and Eric have all completely ignored everything about Davis on Peegs today.

Appears to just be a solid PG. so far in OTE’s 6 preseason games he’s averaging 12.8 ppg, 4.2 apg, and 3.3 rpg.

I don’t mind the mistakes Jones makes. He’s a rookie with upside who’s been getting better and he shouldn’t be in the role he’s in. The other guys just aren’t very good

My take is that this team is close. One more year of high draft picks should set them up for sustainable success. They just aren’t there yet. Oh and I’d lose every game the rest of the season if the Colts got a shot a Harrison Jr.

Honestly, I hope not.

This Colts offense is a lot better this year but the defense just doesn’t have the pieces. Especially in the secondary.

There’s a whole list of connections here. Ya has a connection to OTE where Davis is playing. Kenya has a connection to Team Takeover which is who Davis played AAU with. X also played for Team Takeover. Then he is obviously from Baltimore and a former HS teammate of Queen’s. I could see him coming to IU regardless of what Queen decides.

Yep I don’t care about height as much. Some of the top PG’s in college basketball this year will be 6’1 or shorter.

He’s a smaller guard but in the video I watched from Peach Jam he was smaller than Harper but he did have good strength. Last time I checked IU did pretty well with a shorter well put together PG a few years ago. Pack at Kansas State for the same mold. If a guy can play he can play.

Keep in mind that IU will likely need 5-7 new players for next years roster. Relying on the portal for all of that isn’t a great idea.

Based on the Tipton tweet I think this one will move pretty quick so that’s unlikely. Also Sanon is a wing and not a PG

Self went yesterday to see Queen. They are still going after him but they've always been viewed as being on the outside looking in. Mostly because the fit next to Flory isn't the greatest.

I'm not sure. Sometimes official offers are just formalities. Sanon has wanted IU to recruit him seriously for a while.

Could be a number of things. Here are a few. 1. Recruit doesn't like his fit in the system 2. Recruit doesn't like the vibe of the players in the program 3. Recruit doesn't like the vibe of the school and campus itself once they get there 4. There's some miscommunication's between recruit and coaches 5. There's poor communication between recruit and players on the team 6. NIL isn't up to the players liking when it's all said and done 7. Player doesn't like the set up and format of the campus and doesn't feel comfortable 8. Recruit doesn't like the way the coaches handle player development or practices when they see them in person There could any number of other things as well that can impact a visit for a recruit. Every recruit is different in what they are looking for.

A couple things going on with this one. IU has been talking to him for a while after tracking him this spring/summer. There isn't an official date set for the visit yet. Multiple dates have been discussed and March 10th is one of them. Sanon also has connections to Kenya and Ya. If IU can make a push with this kid it would be a very nice addition to the 2024 class.
