As I kind suspected Grant Cain who was the JMU TE/STC/assistant head coach is also heading to Indiana

After looking over the JMU coaching staff and their history's I wouldn't mind if Cig brought almost his entire staff with him.

No, he's a ND guy and the DC is Ball State guy.

I like that he is planning on bringing OC, DC, and QB coach with him. There might be some more staff coming as well but that'll need to play out a little more. I'm still hoping Bostad returns too.

Not a portal player but former JMU commit Jah Jah Boyd who is a S/WR with 4.4 speed has decommitted. It sounds like there’s a very good chance that he follows Cignetti to IU.

I expect Cignetti to bring his OC with him. I’m guessing other staff members will join him as well over the next few days.

I do know the first part is accurate. JMU offered him a contract that would’ve made him the highest paid coach in their conference and pay bump to his assistant coaching pool. That said I haven’t heard anything for sure on his contract terms or details yet but the first part being accurate does lend some credibility to this guys story.

This is another example of why listening to boosters isn't always the greatest way to get reliable information about what is really going on in a hiring process.

They are in the negotiating stage of things. In person interviews took place just yesterday. Things don't happen at the snap of a finger.

I'm of the belief something crazy would have to happen for it to not be Cignetti by the time the days over. After that I don't know. I'm not sure if he's bringing his staff or any players. I'm just not sure on that stuff yet.

It appears things have heated up quickly and taken a serious turn this afternoon. Cignetti appears to be the leader in the clubhouse at this point in time. However until it’s done who knows how things could still change at this rate lol

Candle is planning on bringing his staff with him. So that is what you are looking at if he is hired.

I guess Hart had an impressive plan and staff that he would be bringing with him. At least one of the decision makers was really impressed.
