He needs to earn it back but to be honest I think IU might be better off with Cupps running the point in the first group from a ball movement and consistency stand point. The most consistent thing about X is being inconsistent.
The exit strategy needs to be discussed. Woodson was always only coaching for the duration of this contract and then he planned on riding off into the sunset. He needs to just retire and let Dolson find a real college basketball coach and not a part timer.
Woodson saying that his bench units have given them good minutes this year is a complete joke. That group is something like a -22 on the season when on the floor together and it’s not a small sample size anymore.
Woodson is to lazy and stubborn. He’s set in his ways and the game has passed him by. He doesn’t make significant adjustments and hasn’t recruited well enough to fill the entire roster to play successfully in the B1G at a consistent level.
That’s why players need to be smarter about entering the portal. Coaches don’t have to take you back when you don’t get the offers you thought you’d get
Well Philostin is sticking with IU, Boyd is going to pick the Hoosiers, IU is in a great spot with Cherry, and there will be more to come as bowl season moves along.
