I’m not sure but I 100% believe that Dolson wants to.

Trilly shared an update that Dolson and Woodson met today and that no decision about the future has been made yet. I took this as Dolson giving Woodson an opportunity to show something the rest of the year but that’s just me.

It's multiple people. Trilly isn't just one person and that's why they get legitimate info from all over the country and it's usually accurate.

It's not just that Mike Woodson wasn't recruiting. It's the fact that the entire staff didn't bother to go out and there doesn't seem to be a good explanation for that. Also I can't seem to recall the last time Kenya went on the road to recruit but he doesn't seem as invested as he once was.

There wasn't nothing with Stevens. The Donovan thing was stupid. This isn't nothing. Trilly has been dropping information, Rabby has been dropping hints about Pearl. It's not nothing but believe that you want.

Things like this get out when you have an account like Trilly that has multiple people feeding it legit intel from all over the country. It's also not a legit media outlet so they don't have to play by the same rules as many other people do. That's why they could care less about what gets leaked to the Trilly account.

I think they'll get one until the season ends. It's not like IU has anything to gain by making a change now.

It just seems odd. Coupled with all somewhat credible rumors that are swirling makes me think that the staff knows something and doesn't want to waste their time.

Early in the week IU had reached out at least one HS and maybe multiple about attending their sectional game last night. Then they went silent and decided not to go. It's also a terrible look for a HC that is not in the safest spot from a job security stand point.

There's literally not a chance that Beard will ever be the HC at Indiana University.

As has always been the case yet people continue to bring his name up in speculation.

Fitzgerald was the first option but he wasn't approved by Whitten. Candle was in the mix. Frye, Hart, and Chryst were all interviewed as well.

Dolson's list. It's more of the pecking order. There's names that have been contacted but I don't know for sure who target A, B, C, and D are for sure. Pearl and May are two of them.

He's on the list of possibilities but I'm not sure how he's viewed by the IU admin.

I will say this. It was nice to see IU win last night. That said I don't believe that game or any others will have any real impact on a decision. If Dolson can get a proven coach in the bag a move will be made. IU is about to be in recruiting purgatory because of Woodson's contract situation. He would need an extension to help that and that's just not happening.

I'm not sure this is the thread to talk about the game in.

I took Woodson's comments last night as a guy pushing his narrative because he knows he's not in a great spot with his employer.
