  1. IUBarstool Instagram account. Look for this photo and go to the comments section. Some of the comments have been deleted but not quick enough.
  2. These kids don’t have their head in the right place right now to win basketball games. They are too worried about flipping fans off on an Instagram comment section.
  3. Agree. Typical vs Indiana game plan. Double Trace and force guys to shoot. Rebound and drive to the hoop in transition. EZ
  4. https://247sports.com/college/indiana/Article/Hoosier-Hysterics-Podcast-Earl-Calloway-Brian-Evans-202575511/ Brian Evans shares his thoughts on current IUBB starting around the 20 minute mark and extending for roughly 50 minutes.
  5. Step up the defensive intensity and awareness and force turnovers. Award yourself with some points in transition. Letting Murray and Boo Bluey or whatever drive the open lane uncontested isn’t going to work.
  6. 2nd best scoring performance as a freshman since Eric Gordon. Someone had to step up and Jalen did just that. A freshman stepped up and not only schooled NW for 33 but also IU’s own upper classmen guards and wings that have yet to produce anything substantial in their 2-3 and 4 years at IU. Sorry folks but while X adds high energy and depth and boy does IU need both, he’s not even remotely close to the level of ability that Jalen is at. Jalens an NBA level talent. In my opinion, given the circumstances, Jalen and Trace put the team on their back Sunday. Both of their turnovers are moot to me being the rest of their game has proved to be so valuable. Not saying Jalen can’t improve. He will. But you’re asking a lot from a freshman kid that doesn’t have a grand scheme of pieces around him. Miller Kopp whose whole offense is stand in a corner and hope his defender gets lost. Bates who does the same thing but to me has more unleashed potential and will try and create on occasion. On and on. Things I would have thought would have been addressed by now. At least a tiny noticeable bit. IU has a freshman stud point guard that any team in the entire collegiate field would love to have and we are going to talk about 6 turnovers and lack of effort? I’m more concerned about getting better pieces around him and making sure our 10m buyout pays off. Or even, if Jalen is one and done, who is going to replace him. If it’s Cupps, who’s the backup plan.
  7. Xavier up to 12 in AP. Valuable road win. Likely won’t matter though unless things turn around quickly. Sean Miller getting it done in his first season.
  8. Pretty cool. Y’all thought you was coming in here for some drama though. Admit it!
  9. Maybe the importance of Matta and Fife on the staff in terms of motivating, accountability & multiple teaching basketball minds, has been overlooked. Calbert was massively important for Tom Crean at Indiana is an example.
  10. After reading everyone’s comments here and abroad it has dawned on me that IU simply needs to recruit more hyphenated surname players to return to elite relevance. (TJD,JHS)
  11. If I remember correctly, some of that debate was due to Woodson’s comment about favoring upper classmen. Jalen has stood out to me since his arrival, on a level untouchable by the rest of the IU guards. As in, their ceiling is not even remotely close as to where this kid is now. Not to mention his future potential.
  12. Trace and Jalen get a backpack each for this game. Together they carried the team as far as they could.
  13. Great contributions by these two but it’s a 5v5 game.
  14. Bring on Derik Queen. Heck, give me the entire MonteVerde bench. The entire bench. I really hope to see Queen, JHS and Reneau on the team next season. 🤞
  15. Positive is Jalen with 33 pts and boat loads of confidence.
  16. Still time but gonna need a little magic
  17. Yeah I think so. Next season really depends on it
  18. Look at this kid. Jalen is a stud folks.
  19. No. That guys way out of line by directly mailing a student. Complain to the athletic dept but not the student athletes.
