These guys are trying everything they can to get in our heads it seems

The confidence level, the energy, the emotion… man this is a different team these last 3 games. I can see it in Trace, Jalen and Galloway the most but Tamar, CJ, and Malik are stepping up as well

I figured they would struggle a bit more than they are with Malik Hall out with injury.

The way they came out swinging and couldn’t miss, I think IU hung in there and adjusted well. Trace is a grown man among boys

Like I said, Kansas has been a perineal power house. IU isn’t even in the same conversation as Kansas. Those team can lose a couple back to back and their fan base isn’t going to freak out. IU has been in the outhouse for decades.

Oh I’m aware. There is no comparison though. Kansas firing Self after a loss would be like IU firing Knight after a loss. Both proven winners. Not even in the same area code as the situation your sarcasm applies to.

This really feels like some have been chomping at the bit to say “I told you so” after these two wins. I am straddling the fence saying we are all on the same team so let’s play nice.

Guys, reading tea leaves is what folks do on a fan board. Go read the Illinois board and I bet you will find their fans questioning Underwood’s in game adjustment abilities. It’s all part of it. I don’t think anyone here is not pulling for the team. I’m not sure why anyone would waste a minute here otherwise. Some folks remember the RMK years and have a different expectation than someone that came into the IUBB fandom during the CTC tenure. Some would be happy with a .500 season and a first out in the tourney and some would see that as a complete failure given the talent on the roster. My only point to Zion earlier was what I stated in a previous post. I see his post as the pot calling the kettle black. You cant exactly call others out for premature judgement when you’re doing exactly the same thing. The team is playing good basketball the last two games but the jury is still out on the season.

Your argument is folks overreact in your opinion. My point is your reaction to call those people out over the most recent two games is just as much an over reaction considering the whole picture up to this point. Fair enough?

They have won 2 games. Not exactly a B1G championship. One game under .500 isn’t that impressive. Let’s see how the rest of the season plays out before breaking out the pedestal. Your response is just as knee jerk as the reaction you’re calling out. The team is playing to their potential now which is what folks was calling out.
