Conference tournaments don’t mean squat imo and only wear teams down and risk injury for the one that really matters. The NCAA tournament. Just my opinion. Never have been a fan of the conference tournaments. Lose out in the first round and get ready for the big one. We are in the B1G and most folks and even recruits and their families have no idea who won the conference tournaments abroad. They all know and remember the NCAA tournament. To me, you prepare all season for the big one. The Super Bowl of college basketball.

I speculate 4-5 is where we fall with a win Sunday. If not then I’d say 5-6.

Agree with this. Bad remaining season losses by other teams projected higher than us is the only way IU gets better than a 4 seed. A loss Sunday and closing out the season with two home losses would squash hopes for even a 4 seed in the NCAA.

Did you stay the duration? I noticed folks leaving with about 10 to go. We left around the 7 mark and there was a steady flow out the doors.

You are correct there Scott. Well said. I might add that you also described all fan bases. As I’m sure is being emphasized in preparation for Michigan, there is no excuse to be as talented as they are and have even shown and to then come out and lay a massive egg in front of your home crowd. That’s the massive mystery we all can’t figure out. My own opinion is that we (IU) have too many roll players which is why there are games that IU dominant when Trace and Jalen get theirs and when games are closely decided when those two are having an off night. Last night though, to me, was like everyone thought we had a 20 point lead to start the game. Sleepwalking.
