This could be such a momentum booster going into the heart of B1G play if the team can pull off a win. I hope for our freshman and transfers that is experiencing their first big time game on our home floor we don’t lay an egg.

Oh Ware has shown the ability but if he was brought in to be our center and shooting guard then that’s a huge problem. Ware needs help in the form of better pieces around him. Galloway is a guy I’ve pulled for since his arrival. I prefer his aggressive slashing to the basket but not upset at all if he wants to shoot a couple long range to test the waters. Im not filing the season away. I don’t think anyone here is. Just caught up in the reality that we just aren’t that great at the moment. Consistant contributors are Ware and Reneau. Without those two we haven’t much of a competitive team at all. Galloway brings a floor general aspect and this team needs leadership. Other than that I’m hopeful for the rest starting with Cupps and Mgbako. I hope we destroy Kansas but know we will have to be very lucky and them very unlucky for it to happen. With that, I’m out. -Friendly language reminder- Also, I’d say the jury is still out on Mike Woodson and his ability to translate his supposed wizardry to the current college game. If I’m being honest, we bought out Crean to end up worse with Archie to end up a little worse than Crean. Hey, that’s just my opinion that I’m entitled to. A well put together team can be very successful. Dusty May is doing a fine job for where he is at and is recruiting 3 star players. As for 3 point shooters on this current roster, I’m going with Cupps and MGbako and crossing my fingers.

When the bench came in, Auburn exploited their shortcomings and it allowed Auburn to gain confidence and gather momentum. When the starters came back in, they wasn’t able to get the flow back that they had established early in the game. Auburn probably was going to win the game anyway. I felt that going in. In real time, a clear reason for the early romp, when Auburn gained control, was when we pulled the rug out from our own feet.

Arizona hasn’t skipped a beat with the staff change. Love has always been highly skilled so not surprised. He found a good fit for him.

Coach Knight was a coaching genius winning with less. IUs legendary status was because of its coach. The results since his departure has made that clear as day. Sure, there were some great players along the way but they came here because they wanted to play for a legend. A great basketball mind to make them better. A true leader of men. I don’t think we will ever regain that level of success. I’ve lowered my expectations to just beating Purdue. The amount of disrespect IU gets from the talking heads is absurd. A strong IU program makes college basketball better.
