Dang. I think we really may suck? I've been optimistic about our potential, but geez.

I know most on here give Woodson a ton of credit, but what in the actual F is he doing with this lineup STILL?

Definitely happy to get Sparks back in the rotation! Love the idea of getting him two games to get back before the UConn game.

I don't think criticism has to mean ridiculous or overreacting. I am happy we won. I like the potential of this team. I'm excited for the season. That said, I don't ignore that we didn't look good. I think we'll get much better as the season goes on. At least I sure hope so. If not, we don't look at all like a top 25 team.

loved Cupps, but kinda confused on people voting him as MVP of the game. sometimes i think people confuse MVP with most pleasant surprise of the game.

Not sure I totally agree, but my son's halftime comment was "Gonna be a rough year for Indiana basketball. Everyone is selfish and can't score."

would also like to see Mbako get more shots

man, i don't really care or follow transfers, but such a disappointment that Lander doesn't even start for WKU this season? i could see Bates being very good if he has put it together.

I'm not one for keeping up with former players and didn't care much when it happened, but just saw Tamar Bates had 18 points on 7 of 9 shooting including 3 for 3 from 3 in his Missouri debut. Maybe this is in another thread? If so, sorry. I don't look at a lot of them! Too many too spread out!

I spin it completely opposite. I have trouble staying awake after 9/930 and love the excuse to start drinking bourbon at 6pm.

I just hope we get a lot better by Nov. 19! I don't think we are close to ready to compete with UConn right now! I do love that we have 3 more games before that. We better win those 3!

Definitely agree. I struggled to see why three 5 star kids, XJ, and Galloway wouldn't get us in or at least close to preseason top 25, but we don't look it yet. I'm excited for each upcoming game with this group. I think we will see them get better and better.

I'd be happy to get him. I wouldn't be upset if we don't. Still like the idea of getting high school kids if they are pretty well recruited. At the same time, we all know what the portal can do.

I love the talent of this team. I was saying before that it seems like most college teams are going to have to deal with roster turnover every year, so it's hard to use coming together/developing chemistry as an excuse, but it just feels like this is a team that will get so much better in another month or so. Have to love the assists to TOs and the FT % of this game. That is a great start to a successful formula. I like the fast pace too and that makes the lack of turnovers even more impressive. I like the starting 5. I like them playing a lot of minutes. At the same time, I like Walker and Sparks a lot. I don't mind Gunn's style of play with the second unit. His role with that unit is as a scorer. I get that. Banks was encouraging. Gotta love Cupps. Can't wait to see him start getting shots too. I'm excited to see this team progress.
