for sure. i don't care who it is in conference. if we get a road conference win, it is a good win regardless of score. i would love this win vs Auburn. seems like not a bad matchup for us.

so... i know i am beating the dead horse, but... does X frequently get out of position being overly aggressive and cause a lot of that? is that part of the reason we are doing better with it?

i didn't see the first half and admittedly a stats guy, so it's hard for me to say Gunn was the most valuable player of that game, so a little surprised he is going to win. i'm obviously in the minority here, but i'd go with both Malik and Ware over him. i went Reneau.

yeah, in a sense i have, but i'm not saying i'm completely convinced about him. just kind of noting that we look better in some aspects without him. maybe just a coincident. i definitely acknowledge that he is talented and experienced. he is no JHS though. i really thought coming in that he would be very very solid from a scoring standpoint and also from a setting teammates up standpoint, and i personally don't see him doing those things well enough to make us the team i hoped for. that's all.

i think part of the key there was how well JHS created for himself and in turn his teammates. we are definitely missing that. he was a dual threat and hard to defend because of it.

just got home from my younger son's game. he scored his career high 18 tonight in a big win! now i can watch the second half! go Hoosiers!

just to strike up conversation - thought on Cupps vs Braden Smith? if Gabe was in Purdue's system and was the starting PG all season, would he be comparable to what Smith was last season? just a random thing i was pondering. thoughts?
